Raquel Leviss defended Peter Madrigal after Lisa Vanderpump denied his recent claim that TomTom was being rebranded as Pump, the name of her restaurant that closed last year. The Vanderpump Rules alum also hinted that Lisa isn’t an “honest figure,” and she claimed she has “caught her in lies.”

Last month, Peter claimed TomTom – the restaurant and bar that is part-owned by Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz – was getting rebranded as Pump amid the public backlash against Sandoval following his past affair with Raquel. But Lisa soon denied Peter’s claims, suggesting that he doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

According to Raquel on the August 31 episode of her Rachel Goes Rogue podcast, Lisa decided to put the Pump lettering over TomTom’s sign, and “they had Tom Sandoval walk in and see it for the first time and get his reaction.”

“I don’t think [Peter] would speak publicly about something unless he had inside intel, and he’s not the type of person to just throw stuff out there,” she went on. “This is Peter we’re talking about … a background character in all the years that Vanderpump Rules has been filming because he’s not about the drama.”

“So I think when Peter has something to say, maybe listen,” she said. “The fact that Lisa is shutting it down immediately – this isn’t the first time that Lisa has done that. And I had things at risk and I chose to speak out, and she’s lied about certain situations with me, so you know I don’t see Lisa as an honest figure at all. I’ve caught her in lies. And so I’m curious to know what Peter has to say.”

“Lisa wants to come across a certain way, and she doesn’t want the perspective that she is rebranding TomTom as Pump,” she added. “I guess that’s not the vibe that she wants.”

Raquel thinks the name TomTom carries “some risk,” and it’s “not the best look right now” because it’s “controversial.”

The alum shared her belief that, if the show is being recast in a spinoff, Peter’s job wouldn’t be in jeopardy if the show is centered around Sur, the restaurant where Peter works.

But she doesn’t “know” if there are “bridges burned” with Peter after he declined to film Pump Rules for “zero pay” last season.

However, Raquel explained that the alleged spinoff could possibly center around the TomTom/Pump restaurant.
