Everyone’s wondering what the Vanderpump Rules cast will do next after it was announced they will all be replaced. After all, they don’t all have their pick of the litter for gigs like Ariana Madix does. However, it seems James Kennedy has his next job lined up following the news. This comes after Ally Lewber said he was ‘grieving’ the long-running show.
There had been talks of a shakeup with Vanderpump Rules before the official announcement. The network had put the show on pause, and many fans thought they might replace a few of the cast members. Sadly, for longtime fans of this show, this isn’t the direction the show is going.
Amidst the news of the Pump Rules OG cast’s firing, James took to Instagram to announce a new partnership with Rehab Monster, a tea-based energy drink.
The Vanderpump Rules alum wrote, “BIG NEWS! I am so thrilled to announce my new partnership with Rehab Monster, the ultimate drink that keeps you refreshed, hydrated, and energized.”
The post continued, “Whether I’m hitting the studio or the decks, Rehab Monster is my go-to for that boost I need! Can’t wait to share more adventures with you all. Cheers to new beginnings!”
Rehab Monster is owned by Monster Energy. The company’s CEO had this to say about the new partnership with James: “[The company is] so excited to have James joining our Monster Energy family. James’ boundless energy and talent for getting the party started, combined with Rehab Monster’s ability to revitalize and energize to ensure the party doesn’t stop, is the perfect pairing.”

According to the press release for the partnership, James will soon be involved in “exclusive content and events.”
This comes after Ally, who he has been dating since 2022, opened up to US Weekly about how James was handling the news of the VPR reboot. She said he was “grieving and just feeling [his] emotions.”
Ally went into detail about the situation by saying, “I was at the airport because I was flying to Hilton Head for Thanksgiving. James was at home, and he got a call from the producers saying it was a great run, but time’s up, basically. I don’t know, something like that. It was much nicer than that.”
She went on, “I wasn’t there, so I didn’t get to see him, but I would call and check-in, and he’d be like, ‘I’m fine.’ He was just going to the gym and doing his thing, but I could just tell he was a little low. But I think he was reflecting.”
The now-VPR alum then said, “I think he was just like, ‘Wow, that was crazy.’ It was just an insane part of his life and such an important part of his life. I think he’s so proud — I know he’s so proud— of where he’s at now compared to where he started the show. So, I think it’s just gratitude and looking back and going, ‘Holy s—. We just did that, and now we can move on.’”
Ally also shared her reaction to the news, saying, “When [we’re] filming, we are really locked in for those few months, so without the camera, life is really much more simple. It’s quiet, it’s peaceful. I do miss seeing people and having those friendships and getting to see them every day, but it’s just different.”
“It’s just a bittersweet feeling of [knowing] that chapter’s closed, but it’s also really freeing at the same time. Like, ‘OK, we can just go live our lives and not worry about what storylines we have or what we have to share,’” Ally added.
