Paris Hilton accused her aunts, Kyle Richards, Kim Richards, and mom Kathy Hilton of reading her hidden diary around the age of 13, and she felt “mortified” as they were “all laughing.” According to the now-42-year-old, this deeply affected her willingness to open up.

Kyle – an original castmate on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills – has feuded with Kathy’s family through the years, though it seems the sisters have finally reconciled, for now.

On Paris in Love, in a clip shared by @byewighellodrama, Kathy said learning of Paris’ past abortion – from her book, rather than in person – broke her heart.

Paris, who was a teenager when she terminated the pregnancy, said it was “hard to talk about” because “when bad things happen, you put the shame on yourself.”

“There’s no reason you should feel shame,” Kathy responded in the clip. “But to carry all of that, you’re keeping all this in.”

In a confessional, Paris suggested why she kept it inside.

“When I was probably 12 or 13, I had a diary hidden in my room,” she said. “And one day I overheard my mom with her sisters reading things from my diary.”

Paris claimed they read an entry about a boy she was crushing on.

“They were all laughing, and I was mortified,” she continued. “So ever since that moment, I just kept a lot in.”

Back in the conversation, Kathy suggested that Paris’ behavior turned wild a few years later, and things started to “make sense” after Kathy realized “the rape happened right before [Paris began] acting out.”

Discussing her new family, Paris addressed, in an interview with Romper, why she used a surrogate for her two children. The star said she continues to have “so much PTSD from what [she] went through” at Provo Canyon School – a psychiatric youth involuntary residential treatment center.

“If I’m in a doctor’s office, I get a shot, anything, I will literally have a panic attack, and I can’t breathe,” said Paris, via Page Six. “I just knew that would not be healthy for me or the baby, growing inside of someone who has such high anxiety.”

Three years ago, Paris said she was emotionally, sexually and physically abused during her time at the school. Provo then stated that they “do not condone or promote any form of abuse.”

The socialite also told Romper that her work schedule was a factor in using surrogacy.

“My schedule is out of control,” said the reality star, whose schedule is regularly planned a year ahead of time. “There never would’ve been the right time to do it because there’s literally no time to do anything in my life.”

Despite the challenges of parenting two children, Paris feels her “life is finally complete.”
