Nick Viall slammed Lisa Vanderpump’s silence after her ex-employee James Kennedy’s recent arrest for misdemeanor domestic violence. Plus, in an interview before the arrest, Lisa hinted at James’ “remarkable growth,” shaded Kristen Doute, and shared how much involvement she has in Vanderpump Rules’ spinoff, The Valley.

According to reports, James allegedly got physical with his girlfriend Ally Lewber on the night of Kathy Hilton’s holiday party, and someone called 911. In the past, Lisa has defended James even as other castmates criticized him.

On his Viall Files podcast, Nick slammed Lisa’s lack of a reaction to James’ recent arrest. He suggested that she should respond since she was once “a huge supporter” of him and had “his back.”

“Embarrassing for you,” said Nick, addressing Lisa directly, via Page Six.

Nick’s wife Natalie Joy said that, according to the log for the arrest, James allegedly “lifted [Lewber] up and threw her to the ground.”

“I don’t have any patience for any guy that lays hands on a woman, period, whatsoever,” said Nick. “F–k that guy. … I hope he never works again.”

On a December 6 episode of the Housewives Nightcap podcast, shortly before news broke of the arrest, Lisa said she’s seen “remarkable growth” with James.

“And Lala, for sure,” she added at the time, via @breakingtherulespodclips on Instagram. “I love them all individually. We’ve been through too much not to.”

But Lisa shared that she won’t speak to “a couple” castmates.

“[But] not [in] the original cast,” she clarified. “I’m good with [them]. I think Kristen — I never talk to her.”

Lisa was then asked about Kristen’s pregnancy.

“How on earth did that happen?” said Lisa, and she then asked “do we know” who the “father” is.

As for her relationship to The Valley, Lisa expressed, “I am really not very involved in The Valley, even though I want to produce them … Some of [the Pump Rules castmates] might [go there now] to pay a little visit.”

Following the sharing of the clip on social media, Lisa faced some backlash from fans.

“She’s always rallied the men,” said one person.

“LVP has always picked the men over [the] women,” a second person chimed in.

“No respect [left for] LVP. Like stop the misdirected Kristen hate already- that was a decade ago,” another person added.

However, some fans did come to Lisa’s defense when it came to her comments on Kristen.

“She asked if we know who the dad is, not if Kristen knows,” said a fan.

“Bogus headline. SHE asked who the father is, not if Kristin knows 🙄,” added another person.

Bravo recently revealed that they’re replacing last season’s cast of Pump Rules.
