Morena Farina Doesn’T Look Like This Anymore! Married At First Sight Bride Unveils Unrecognisable Post-Show Transformation

Married At First Sight bride Morena Farina recently unveiled a major style transformation after filming on the matchmaking series wrapped last year.

The DJ, 57, rocked a completely new look in images she shared on her business Instagram account in December.

In the pictures, Morena had traded in her blonde locks for bright red braids.

In the caption she said she was ‘happy, unbothered, and healthy’ following her appearance on the show.

Her tight braids had a black to vibrant red ombre colour – a far cry from her usual muted blonde tresses.

Morena included a video at the end of the gallery, explaining her unique look was only temporary and for a Christmas DJing gig for kids.

‘I went to the gym this morning and quite a few people said, “What’s with the hair?” Um, what’s with the questions? What’s the big deal? It’s hair!’ she said.

‘Anyway, if I have to explain, I guess I will. I’m doing an absolutely special gig on Sunday and it’s for special kids.

‘So what do you do when you’re confronted with special kids? I’ll tell you what you do.

‘You’ve gotta bring joy, you’ve gotta bring love and laughter, you’ve got to bring colour, and you’ve got to realise that not everyone has what you have.

‘So bring a bit of joy with a pure heart.’

Morena changed her hairstyle for several days for the function late last year, taking every opportunity to share photos of it online at the time.

However, she soon reverted back to her usual blonde tresses as she moved into the new year and picked up other DJ and MC events in Melbourne.

It comes after Morena opened up about a shocking moment her TV husband Tony Mojanovski called her an offensive name on-set

The wedding MC appeared on Abbie Chatfield’s It’s A Lot podcast and told the host there was a shocking behind-the-scenes moment in which Tony called her a ‘s**t’.

‘I said, “Tony, I need you to take a photo of me.” And he said, “You got the look of a S-*-*-T.” I started bawling and asked, “I beg your pardon,”‘ Morena began.

She added a MAFS crew member noticed their heated argument and quickly broke it up.

‘A producer was there. She made him apologise to me,’ Morena added.

The reality TV star then said she was not compatible with her 53-year-old partner because he wanted a much younger woman.

‘He is repulsed by a 57-year-old, he wanted someone who is 40,’ she said.

Morena previously revealed one of the biggest challenges in her relationship with Tony was he was already legally married.

As previously revealed by Daily Mail Australia, Tony was still legally married to his estranged wife when he walked down the aisle with Morena during filming last year.

While the relationship was over, the fact he wasn’t officially divorced left his MAFS spouse feeling deceived, leading to tension between them.

According to insiders, Tony had been upfront with producers about his marital status before the show began filming, believing the experiment would help him move forward after separating from his wife three years ago.

Daily Mail Australia can reveal Tony bravely asked the MAFS experts for help reigniting his relationship with his former wife.

He even requested for her to come onto the show. Understandably, Morena hit the roof because she expected to be paired with a man who was all in.

‘Morena was blindsided on her honeymoon but it’s not going to be shown on TV,’ a source said at the time.

‘She had held off bringing it up at the dinner party because she didn’t want to throw him under the bus, but when she confronted him in front of the experts, the whole room went silent.’

An emotional Morena turned to Tony and asked: ‘Why did you take up the space of someone else? Why aren’t you chasing your wife if you love her?’

His response was equally shocking.

‘Tony admitted to everyone he still loved his wife and that Morena was going to “help him work it all out”,’ the insider revealed.

‘The experts were speechless. John Aiken nearly fell off his chair.’

Multiple insiders have told Daily Mail Australia the producers were desperate to keep a lid on the scandal and even tried to stop Morena from bringing it up on camera.

‘From the first dinner party, they told her to stop talking about it. They kept saying it wouldn’t air, that it wasn’t a big deal,’ an insider said.

‘But Morena refused to be silenced. She was furious that they were trying to control the narrative.’

It’s understood this led to significant behind-the-scenes tensions, with Morena feeling increasingly isolated and frustrated.

‘She knew she was being stitched up,’ a friend revealed. ‘She felt like they were gaslighting her, making her feel crazy for calling it out.’

Things came to a dramatic head during one of their private dates when Morena again questioned why Tony hadn’t legally ended his marriage.

Married At First Sight continues Monday at 7:30pm on Channel Nine and 9Now.
