Married At First Sight’s Ryan Donnelly has once again sparked romance speculation after stepping out with his rumoured girlfriend Jennie at Believe Advertising’s Most Influential People Party.
The 37-year-old account manager turned reality TV star cut a stylish figure as he posed on the red carpet at Pelicano in Potts Point, Sydney, alongside his female friend, who stunned in a daring orange and pink mini dress.
Ryan looked relaxed and happy as he posed with his arm casually placed behind his friend, fuelling whispers that there could be a new romance on the horizon following his turbulent time on MAFS.
He kept his look smart yet casual for the high-profile bash, opting for a white floral button-up shirt tucked neatly into a pair of beige chinos.
He finished off his ensemble with a brown leather belt and matching shoes, while keeping his grooming clean and polished.
Meanwhile, Jennie turned heads in a racy asymmetrical dress that showcased her toned figure and multiple tattoos.
She paired the eye-catching outfit with strappy white heels and a sparkling silver handbag, wearing her dark locks out in loose waves and opting for a bronzed glam makeup look.
Ryan was also seen mingling with his MAFS co-stars Tony Mojanovski and Adrian Araouzou, who looked equally sharp for the occasion.
Tony, 53, kept things casual in a white T-shirt and cargo-style black trousers, teaming the outfit with white sneakers and flashing a huge smile for photographers.
Adrian, 36, showed off his tattooed arms in a light blue short-sleeved linen shirt, worn over a white singlet, paired with black trousers and crisp white sneakers.
The trio looked in high spirits as they posed together, laughing and joking around before heading inside to celebrate the event, which was sponsored by Belvedere Vodka.
In March, Jacqui came under fire after making a crude comment Ryan’s love life during a chaotic TikTok Live.
The lawyer took part in a now-viral livestream alongside her now-fiancé Clint Rice, which was met with backlash.
The pair appeared to mock Ryan’s location and sexual activity with an expletive-laced joke that many viewers have labelled ‘sl*t-shaming’.
‘Where is Ryan? He’s probably in Campbelltown,’ Jacqui said, before crudely adding: ‘I guess he’s probably f***ing some sl*t.’
Clint, clearly caught off guard, laughed nervously and replied: ‘Can we cut that?’
The pair’s remarks spread rapidly across social media, sparking outrage and hundreds of furious comments slamming Jacqui.
Jacqui issued a lengthy statement apologising for the slur, saying the term was used sarcastically but admitting ‘it wasn’t funny’.
She went on to clarify that she has no contact with Ryan, claiming he’s blocked and that she gets friends and family to monitor his online content and report back to her.
‘I don’t follow Ryan and didn’t know he was seeing anyone – last I heard he was single hooking up with women at parties with his tongue down their throats,’ Jacqui claimed.
‘Yes, I literally get heaps of these messages from girls.’
‘Sorry to those romantic interests if they are offended – all the best to these babes (and no shame on towns and locations).’
However, fans weren’t buying the apology, flooding social media with scathing criticism.
One user wrote: ‘Ew. Calling women sl*ts is not supportive behaviour, Jacqui.
‘Just gross. Be better.’
A third simply commented: ‘Wowza.’
Another user didn’t hold back: ‘They painted a pic of her on MAFS. Sadly, I don’t think they’re far off.’
Fans also took aim at Clint for his failure to immediately shut down the offensive remark.
‘Clint is asking for trouble,’ one person wrote.
The backlash has also reignited debate about Jacqui’s behaviour throughout the season, with some calling her out for blaming editing and deflecting accountability.
