Married At First Sight’s Ellie Dix has shared throwback details of her time on the dating show, including the price of her wedding gown.

The 32-year-old cosmetic nurse revealed that the outfit she wore when she tied the knot with groom Ben Walters cost a ‘thrifty’ $1,648.00.

The controversial reality star also showed an image of her MAFS contract, telling followers that the show ‘changed her life’.

Taking to her Instagram stories on Monday with her MAFS memories, Ellie shared a video of the wedding gown, wrapped in plastic and hanging in a closet.

‘Oh my God there it is,’ she said in the caption, adding, ‘fake tan stains and all.’

In another clip, she showed documents that revealed what producers spent on her wedding outfit.

‘Oh and my wedding dress was $1600. Thrifty,’ she captioned the clip.

Many Australian brides spend up to $3,000 on a bridal gown, according one prominent Sydney retailer.

In another clip, Ellie revealed that she discovered her MAFS memorabilia was left tucked away at her mother’s house.

‘Cleaning out the spare room at mums and I find the document that changed my life,’ she captioned a photo of her MAFS contract.

Ellie raised eyebrows on MAFS this season when she hooked up with co-star Jono McCullough after dumping her original groom.

And last month she shocked her fans when she revealed she is selling her ring from her TV wedding to Ben Walters.

Alongside a photo of Jono’s finger wearing the diamond ring that Ben gave her at their MAFS wedding earlier this year, Ellie wrote some cheeky words.

‘Hey look, I found a wedding ring from that time I married a stranger,’ she began.

Ellie then added she was prepared to sell the ring to whoever made an offer.

‘Jono McCullough modeling the goods. DM to make an offer,’ Ellie wrote and added a laughing emoji.

Ellie was paired with tour guide Ben Walters on this year’s MAFS but soon discovered she was better suited to co-star Jono McCullough, who was paired with Lauren Dunn.

Jono and Ellie were later called ‘villains’ after they ended things with their partners in order to begin a relationship with each other.

The pair have been going strong since the series ended and have recently revealed that babies may be on the cards for them in the future.

During an Instagram Q&A in July, Gold Coast-based Jono told followers where he saw himself in five years – and the answer included having a family.
