MAFS UK star Caspar has made a subtle dig at the wife he was paired with on the show after receiving backlash for fat shaming her.

The man was shown battling with a lack of attraction to his bride throughout the wedding ceremony, and decided to open up about his feelings during the honeymoon.

Initially he attempted to let her down gently, saying there wasn’t a spark between them.

But when Emma asked if he thought she looked beautiful that night, he told her “I’ve rarely gone for the curvier person”.

Now Caspar has posted a snap of him with his dog on Instagram, captioning it “True happiness”.

His joy in the photo only makes it even more evident that he was not in his happy place while with Emma.

Viewers were outraged after the episode aired where Caspar commented on his bride’s weight, and several called for him to be axed from the E4 reality show.

Caspar has since joked that he is the “most hated” person in the UK after confessing his true thoughts on his bride.

Sharing a clip of infamous TV personality Katie Hopkins, he asked in a poll: “Who’s more hated in Britain right now?”

In the clip Katie takes aim at him, saying: “A chin-less wonder called Caspar is p*ssed off because his wife is a size 14.

“You know what, Caspar? I wouldn’t sleep with you if I had a bag over my head, was p*ssed out of my tree and had some kind of epidural so I was numb from the waist down.

“But if you think you’re smashing you crack on, love.”

Emma was reduced to tears after hearing that her newfound hubby was not attracted to her because of her size.

In a piece to camera, the heartbroken woman shared: “It’s a shame that I’m not attractive to the person I’ve married.

“He struggled so much to say that I looked beautiful last night, but actually I felt good. And I asked him, like, am I attractive? And he struggled to say yes. I’m a size 14. I’m not f*****g monster.”
