Married At First Sight’S Billy, Dave, And Jeff Enjoy A Boys’ Day Out Without Their Brides After Revealing They Broke The Rules Weekly To Hang Out

They may have signed up for love, but it seems the strongest relationship to come out of this season of Married At First Sight is the bromance between Billy Belcher, Dave Thomas, and Jeff Gobbels.

The trio were spotted enjoying a boys’ day out as they left a soccer game during filming on August 17, looking relaxed and in high spirits as they walked together.

Dave, 36, known to fans as the ‘TikTok Tradie,’ kept it effortlessly cool in a black blazer worn over an open pastel green shirt, paired with slim-fitting black jeans and classic Converse sneakers.

His heavily tattooed neck and hands added an edgy touch to his laid-back look.

Billy, 31, opted for a smart-casual ensemble, layering a light grey coat over a crisp white polo shirt.

He completed the look with tailored blue trousers and fresh white sneakers, exuding an understated yet stylish vibe.

Jeff, 39, sported a chic all-black outfit, donning a long wool coat over a sage green button-up shirt.

He teamed the ensemble with black pants and matching Converse, tying in seamlessly with Dave’s look.

Their friendship first came to light when Billy and Dave confessed to breaking MAFS rules to spend time together outside of filming.

From sneaky gym sessions to spa dates, their bromance quickly became one of the most talked-about relationships of the season.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail Australia earlier this month, Billy gushed about his friendship with Dave, calling him his ‘rock’ throughout the process.

‘It was really nice to have someone there for me, and vice versa,’ Billy said.

‘To have Dave with me throughout the show was so important. I had him like a wall I could bounce off when things got hard.’

Billy also revealed how they secretly met up, despite the show’s strict rules.

‘We was even going to the gym together at times, which we wasn’t allowed to do, and having little spa dates. Things like that,’ Billy confessed.

‘I can’t lie, I had a cry watching Dave’s wedding back on TV,’ he admitted.

‘Now look, I know Dave’s a teddy bear, so I knew there was possibly gonna be some kind of emotional side to it. But watching it — God, it hit me. I was there like a blubbery mess. I had to get my tissues out. I was like, “Oh no! What am I doing?”‘

Dave also had nothing but praise for Billy, calling him his ‘favourite groom’ of the season and revealing they hit it off immediately at the bucks’ party.

‘Him and I, throughout the night, connected, looking at each other and pulling faces, and we knew that we’d get along straight away,’ Dave shared.

‘I couldn’t wait to see him when we moved into the apartments. He really was a solid rock for me in that experiment.’

Now, with Jeff firmly part of their dynamic, it seems the MAFS grooms have formed a solid trio that’s set to last well beyond the show.
