Mike Gunner is back for round two of looking for love on reality TV.
The former Married At First Sight groom, who starred on season six of the series in 2019, has joined the cast of Stan’s Love Triangle for season three.
The 50-year-old videographer will appear on the new season of the dating show which premieres on Stan on Sunday, April 6.
Mike says he has changed and grown since his stint on Married At First Sight and is ready to find ‘The One’.
‘Mike has been on a rocky road when it comes to finding love since he first graced our screens on season six of Married at First Sight,’ a bio for the reality star reads.
‘As a 50-year-old single man, he knows he looks better than a lot of younger guys but still struggles on the dating scene.
‘When given the chance, women discover him to be a kind soul, and while he finds himself a little lonely at times, Mike is a very happy dog dad.
‘He’s keen to have a family of his own, even if that means becoming a stepdad.
‘He believes he has grown since his MAFS days and become more self-aware. The concept of Love Triangle works for Mike, as he can focus on making a connection with someone before they judge him on his MAFS past.’
Mike ‘married’ Heidi Latcham on the show back in 2019 but they split before the series ended.
During the Grand Reunion in 2021, a tearful Mike admitted his ex Heidi was a ‘missed opportunity’ and said he regretted their break-up.
Despite confirming he was dating someone else, the electrician confessed he would probably ‘just kiss’ Heidi if he ever saw her again.
‘She could light up a room like no one I’ve ever met. Everybody fell for it, and I see it as a huge missed opportunity,’ he said.
‘I don’t know if I’ve made peace with it, even two years later.
‘I made a lot of mistakes. They were hurtful to her and damaging to our relationship.’
When asked if the former couple were still in touch, he said: ‘I’ve tried, but she doesn’t message back.’
Other contestants looking for romance on Love Triangle include Ariana, 29, an executive assistant and wedding pet chauffeur from Victoria.
Likewise, Bernie, 27, a business analyst from Victoria is hoping for the best, as is Chloe, 25, a nurse manager from NSW.
The group of hopefuls is rounded out by Payton, 25, a concreter and business owner from NSW.
In a Love Triangle first, the singles and suitors will return to take a look back on their dating experiences at a Reunion Special hosted by Chrishell Stause.
The American star is best known for her starring role in global hit reality real estate series Selling Sunset.
Since the global premiere of the series on Stan in 2022, Love Triangle has captured international attention and the first two seasons have been sold into 13 territories.
The format has also been adapted for audiences in Finland and the UK, where Love Triangle UK will premiere its second season this year on E4, and will also be available to stream on Stan.
The first two episodes of the Stan Original Series Love Triangle Season 3 will premiere on April 6.
They will be followed by a brand new episode every Sunday, only on Stan.
