Married At First Sight Star Sierah Swepstone Rushed To Hospital Following A Medical Episode As Her ‘Cheating Scandal’ With Groom Adrian Araouzou Unfolds On TV

Married At First Sight bride Sierah Swepstone was rushed to hospital on Thursday following a medical episode.

The financial associate advisor, 31, was seen being escorted by three police officers and a paramedic into the back of an ambulance in Melbourne at around 12.56pm.

Swepstone appeared visibly distressed and clutched her chest as she climbed into the ambulance which transferred her to the Alfred Hospital.

It’s unclear what prompted the emergency response, but the distressing incident comes as her explosive ‘cheating scandal’ with groom Adrian Araouzou plays out on the hit reality show.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Swepstone and Channel Nine for comment.

Swepstone, who is matched with Perth-based plasterer Billy Belcher on the show, has become embroiled in controversy after reports emerged she had secretly met up with Araouzou behind his bride Awhina Rutene’s back.

During Wednesday night’s episode, the pair looked very friendly with each other and at one point appeared to discreetly play ‘footsies’ under the table as their respective partners sat beside them.

Swepstone was also seen puckering up her lips and making kissing gestures towards Araouzou, who smiled and enjoyed the attention from the bride.

Fans have been left outraged over the flirty exchange, which is set to rock the group at Sunday night’s commitment ceremony.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Araouzou, 37, shut down claims he ‘cheated’ on his bride, insisting there was never anything between them.

‘Look, if bumping feet under a crowded dinner table is cheating, then half the cast must be guilty. It’s ridiculous,’ he said.

‘If that is cheating, then I also cheated with Jeff [Gobbles], Rhi [Disljenkovic], and everyone else at the dinner party because we were all sitting close together.’

However, the MAFS star did confirm he went out with Swepstone—but stressed it was part of a group outing that also included grooms Tony Mojanovski and Belcher.

He admitted he should have invited Rutene, but claimed they were fighting at the time.

‘I completely understand why she was upset. In hindsight, I should have invited her as well,’ he said.

It comes after Daily Mail Australia revealed Swepstone and Araouzou’s connection had been developing behind the scenes for weeks.

Their flirtation escalated after a boozy night out during their first weekend in Sydney, culminating in a private late-night meeting at Swepstone’s apartment.

Belcher, unaware of the secret rendezvous, had been watching soccer with other cast members in a different room.

Just days later, Swepstone and Araouzou snuck off for an intimate dinner, keeping it hidden from their partners.

When rumours began swirling, Belcher was blindsided at the commitment ceremony, where the truth came out in front of everyone.

‘Billy felt completely blindsided,’ a cast member revealed.

‘Sierah wouldn’t open up to him, but she did with Adrian. And he only found out in front of the rest of us. It was so embarrassing. I felt terrible for him.’

The betrayal left Belcher feeling humiliated, prompting him to request separate sleeping arrangements.

Meanwhile, Rutene was equally hurt after spending time bonding with Swepstone, unaware she was being deceived.

‘She had every chance to tell Awhina,’ another bride shared.

‘Awhina and Sierah had spent the whole day together. She knew what she was doing was wrong.’

By the time the dinner party rolled around, tensions reached boiling point.

Belcher and Rutene confronted their partners in front of the group, exposing the rendezvous.

Multiple sources confirmed that Swepstone and Araouzou had continued their flirtation in plain sight.

The MAFS experts weighed in on the controversy, criticising Swepstone for seeking the emotional connection she desperately craved from Belcher from another man.

Despite mounting backlash, Araouzou downplayed the situation, insisting he was merely comforting a distressed castmate.

‘She was bawling her eyes out. I wasn’t going to let her sit alone in an apartment all weekend crying,’ he reportedly told fellow grooms.

Swepstone has refused to comment on the scandal, but insiders reveal she is ‘angry and frightened’ about how the situation will play out on-screen.
