Katina Goode and Olajuwon Dickerson were a controversial couple on Married at First Sight season 14, and their relationship status post-Decision Day is a lot to keep up with. Olajuw on seemed impressed by Katina’s level of commitment to being the perfect wife for him. While Katina did notice the negatives in her relationship with Olajuwon and how he hurt her feelings with his standards, she wanted to make the marriage work anyway. Come the Reunion episode, Olajuwon admitted to not liking the person he presented on the show and seemed to have softened up for Katina, who appeared happy and in love at that time.
Katina & Olajuwon Split In 2022
Katina and Olajuwon’s drama-free marriage period was short-lived. The pair, who had uncomfortable and cringy situations arise on Married at First Sight season 14 (via Lifetime,) split in November 2022. They released a joint Instagram post detailing how the decision to break up was not an easy one. However, a few weeks later, in December 2022, Katina and Olajuwon appeared to go on a romantic vacation together, and they deleted the divorce declaration Instagram post.
Katina & Olajuwon Have Been On-And-Off-Again
It has not been smooth sailing for Katina and Olajuwon since their December 2022 reconciliation. In February 2023, Olajuwon confirmed his split from Katina. He remarked, “We are officially legally separated. We leave with the utmost respect for each other.” But only a few months later, in April 2023, the pair were spotted being cozy at their Married at First Sight season 14 cast mate, Steve Moi’s birthday party.
Another photo of them together in the Bahamas was shared in June 2023. They remained quiet with their relationship status up until December 2023, when Katina shared a year-end post, featuring a cuddly pool photo with Olajuwon. The Married at First Sight alum turned the comments off on her post, but her Instagram share confirms that the pair are still together and trying to make it work. However, Katina and Olajuwon’s on-and-off pattern could signify that they are not totally on solid ground.
