Married At First Sight Groom Ryan Donnelly Flaunts His ‘Warrior’ Physique As He Endures Gruelling Outdoor Workout In Sydney

Married At First Sight groom Ryan Donnelly proved he is in peak physical condition on Tuesday as he powered through a high-intensity workout session in a Sydney park.

The reality TV star, 37, who is a self-proclaimed ‘warrior’ looking for his ‘unicorn’ love, was spotted shirtless as he flaunted his chiselled abs and muscular frame while sweating it out under the blazing sun.

Wearing nothing but a pair of athletic shorts and a silver chain necklace, Ryan put his impressive strength on full display as he performed a series of punishing exercises using heavy dumbbells.

In one striking moment, the groom was seen gritting his teeth as he executed a set of bicep curls while his arm muscles bulged beneath the weight.

He pushed through the burn, proving his dedication to fitness.

Switching up his routine, the Sydney-based groom later engaged in farmers’ carries, gripping a dumbbell in each hand while striding purposefully across the lush green field.

Another snapshot captured Ryan mid-stride during an intense weighted walking lunge, his broad shoulders and biceps standing out as he maintained perfect form while carrying the heavy loads.

Despite the challenging nature of the workout, Ryan remained focused and determined, adjusting the weight plates on his dumbbells between sets.

His choice of footwear—a pair of classic blue Converse sneakers—showed he prefers a laid-back, comfortable style while working out.

It comes as Ryan spoke about the challenges of navigating his relationship with bride Jacqui Burfoot during an interview with Daily Mail Australia.

‘The thing with you guys is you always have to reset. It’s like every time we take a step forward, something happens, and we’re back to square one,’ he said.

When asked about their connection, Ryan reflected: ‘Jacqui and I had moments where we really clicked, but then something would happen, and I’d start questioning everything again.’

He admitted things weren’t always smooth sailing, saying: ‘Some days, it felt like we were on the same page, and other days, I felt like we were speaking completely different languages.’

Ryan also shared insight into the pressures of the experiment: ‘It’s not just about what happens in the moment—it’s the aftermath, the way things unfold after the cameras stop rolling.

‘You think you’re fine, and then boom, something is brought up again, and you’re back in the trenches.’

When asked if he had any regrets, he was candid: ‘I don’t regret giving it a shot.

‘But looking back, I do wonder if we were ever truly meant to work outside of this experiment.’

Despite the challenges, he admitted there were still feelings there: ‘Jacqui is an amazing person. I just don’t know if we were amazing together.’
