Married At First Sight fans were introduced to couple Beth Kelly and Teejay Halkias during Monday’s episode, but what they didn’t see was a jaw-dropping moment that never made it to air.
Daily Mail Australia can reveal bride Jamie Marinos made a startling confession during the wedding reception that rocked the experiment.
The shocking revelation was cut from the wedding, despite reports surfacing back in October about the explosive moment.
The 29-year-old Adelaide-born marketing guru openly admitted to having slept with Teejay in the past – dropping the bombshell right in the middle of his wedding celebrations.
A show insider spilled the details, saying: ‘We were all sitting at the main table, enjoying the wedding, and then Jamie just walked over and said, “I slept with TJ.”
‘The entire room froze. It was like a grenade had gone off—nobody could believe what they were hearing,’ the source added.
Daily Mail Australia can confirm that Jamie and Teejay were already acquainted before filming began.
When asked about their past connection, Jamie remained coy, saying: ‘Teejay hasn’t entered (the experiment), so I can’t comment.’
However, she did admit they had crossed paths years ago, adding, ‘I knew him when I was 17 in Adelaide.’
While Jamie did not clarify whether their relationship was platonic or romantic, she confirmed that Teejay is also from Adelaide.
One shocked guest at the wedding reception recalled the moment vividly: ‘I just sat there like, “What?!” She said it so casually, and we were all thinking, “Why would she drop that bombshell at the wedding, of all places?” The whole atmosphere changed instantly.’
Beth, who had just exchanged vows with Teejay, was left completely blindsided by the revelation.
‘Beth had no clue about their history,’ a fellow guest revealed.
‘This is going to blow up, and it’s definitely going to cause problems for them.’
The fallout from Jamie’s shocking admission has already begun brewing, with one guest admitting, ‘Someone asked, “Should we be worried about her [Jamie]?” and the answer was, “Well, we’ve all got a problem now, don’t we?”‘

Daily Mail Australia understands that Jamie’s big moment from Teejay and Beth’s wedding was cut because producers tried to downplay the fact that several participants already knew each other before filming even began.
Carina Mirabile and Paul Antoine had previously gone on a date before the show.
Carina revealed during the premiere episode that she recognised Paul as someone she had dated, but he had ghosted her afterward.
Likewise, Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels dated in late 2023 after being introduced by a mutual friend, Australian Survivor star and TV presenter Abbey Holmes.
Although their relationship didn’t become official, they remained in touch and attended the same gym in Melbourne
