Married at First Sight lovebirds Jade Pywell and Ridge Barredo have shared another quirky relationship update on their social media.
The couple, who tied knot on the Channel Nine dating show this year, joked that they were taking a break from ‘marriage’.
The pair, who live together on the Gold Coast, exchanged supposedly ‘cross’ words, in a series of posts after Ridge revealed he had ‘forgotten’ to wear his MAFS wedding ring.
For ‘revenge’, Jade, 26, posted a video in which she can be seen removing her MAFS ring and plonking it on her bedside table.
‘Guess we’re taking a day off from marriage,’ she captioned a video on her Instagram stories.
Ridge, 27, then shared a picture of his ring sitting on a bedside table, telling Jade he ‘felt naked’ without it.
He also made fun of her video, saying ‘Jade being dramatic again.’
Ridge later posted a screen shot of messages the pair exchanged, including one asking his MAFS bride to ‘drop off the ring’ to him.
It comes after Ridge shared a sweet video of himself and his ‘wife’ celebrating his move to Jade’s hometown of the Gold Coast.
Daily Mail Australia revealed last month that Ridge had quit his job as a psychiatric nurse in NSW and relocated to move in with his TV bride.
Days later, the MAFS intruder groom took to Instagram to officially share the news with his 111,000 followers as he posted a sweet video of himself and Jade.
In the footage, Ridge packed on the PDA with Jade as he lifted her into the air and kissed her in the kitchen of their new shared home on the Gold Coast.
In an accompanying caption, Ridge gushed over his girlfriend and her daughter Victoria as he shared his delight over relocating to live with them.
He penned: ‘We really did go from “can’t wait to see you next” to “see you at home”. After 6 months I’ve finally made the move to the GC to be with my girl.
‘It hasn’t been the easiest of roads with the ups and downs and all the rest of it but we did actually make it.
‘I’ve finally settled in here and I’m so excited to continue to grow our lives together with little V #lovewins.’
