Married At First Sight fans are losing their minds after Wednesday night’s Dinner Party foreshadowed the show’s first apparent ‘cheating scandal’.
At the end of the episode, Sierah Swepstone and Adrian Araouzou appeared to be discreetly playing ‘footsies’ under the table as their respective partners, Billy Belcher and Awhina Rutene, sat beside them.
Sierah was also seen puckering up her lips and making kissing gestures towards Adrian, who smiled and enjoyed the attention from the bride.
Fans have been left outraged over the flirty exchange, which is set to rock the group at Sunday night’s commitment ceremony.
Taking to social media, viewers slammed the pair for their secretive act.
‘Why oh why would you flirt with Billy’s girl, Adrian you nasty piece of work,’ someone wrote to X.
‘Oh snap! Sierah & Adrian playing footsie?!!!’ another said.
‘Sierah and Adrian??! NOOOOO,’ wrote someone else.
One shocked fan added: ‘ARE THEY PLAYING FOOTSIES UNDER THE TABLE????????? adrian i expected this from but SIERAH??????????? [Don’t f***ing piss me off].’
‘What is wrong with Sierah… why would she play footsies with the awful Adrian? Surely she can’t be that desperate for sex,’ said another, referencing Sierah and Billy’s lack of intimacy.
‘I knew my gut feeling about Sierah was right! Had bad vibes from the start. And don’t even get me started on Adrian,’ a user predicted.

It comes after Billy broke his silence after the ‘cheating scandal’ was exposed.
The groom was left devastated after discovering his bride Sierah was secretly getting close to Adrian.
The 31-year-old admitted he was left ‘gobsmacked’ after learning about Sierah’s actions.
‘I had no idea that happened,’ the British-born plasterer said.
‘I did, however, know there was something going on between them. Awhina (Adrian’s wife) and I weren’t happy.
‘We signed up to be with our partners and when we watched them getting closer it wasn’t nice. It was very difficult to watch. I felt a bit sad.’
Billy assumed that with time Sierah would begin to open up to him during Intimacy Week, but he was devastated to learn that she had already confided in Adrian about her past – something she had refused to do with her own husband.
‘The last thing I thought when I packed up my life for this experiment would be my partner maybe having a connection with somebody else,’ Billy said.

Their flirtation escalated after a boozy night out during their first weekend in Sydney, culminating in a private late-night meeting at Sierah’s apartment.
Billy, unaware of the secret rendezvous, had been watching soccer with other cast members in a different room.
Just days later, Sierah and Adrian snuck off for an intimate dinner, keeping it hidden from their partners.
When rumours began swirling, Billy was blindsided at the commitment ceremony, where the truth came out in front of everyone.
‘Billy felt completely blindsided,’ a cast member revealed.
‘Sierah wouldn’t open up to him, but she did with Adrian. And he only found out in front of the rest of us. It was so embarrassing. I felt terrible for him.’
The betrayal left Billy feeling humiliated, prompting him to request separate sleeping arrangements.
Meanwhile, Awhina was equally hurt, having spent time bonding with Sierah, unaware she was being deceived.
‘She had every chance to tell Awhina,’ another bride shared. ‘Awhina and Sierah had spent the whole day together. She knew what she was doing was wrong.’
By the time the dinner party rolled around, tensions reached boiling point.
Billy and Awhina confronted their partners in front of the group, exposing the rendezvous.
Shockingly, multiple sources confirmed that Sierah and Adrian had continued their flirtation in plain sight, even playing ‘footsies’ under the table while their oblivious spouses sat beside them.

Despite mounting backlash, Adrian downplayed the situation, insisting he was merely comforting a distressed castmate.
