Married At First Sight’s Lucinda Light and Timothy Smith’s fate as a couple has been revealed after their huge blow-up at Homestays week.
The marriage celebrant, 43, and the real estate tycoon, 51, got off to a ‘slow burn’ start in the experiment but made huge progress in recent days, sharing an intimate kiss at a recent dinner party and gushing to the experts about their bond.
However, things hit the rocks when the couple had an epic row during Homestays week after Lucinda was left disappointed when Timothy stormed off and vanished for seven hours.
She appeared to end things at the end of the episode.
Following the bombshell scenes on Monday, which also saw Timothy walk off after a swear-filled rant, the couple were seen arriving back at Skye Suites separately.
They arrived to their apartment hours apart after Lucinda admitted Timothy wasn’t ‘for her’ and said she wanted more from a relationship, appearing to confirm they were over.
Timothy looked downcast as he unloaded his luggage from his vehicle in an all-black outfit which matched his mood.
Hours later, Lucinda looked distressed as she walked with her hand on her head after getting out of her car.
She cut a stylish figure in black trousers and a blue faux-fur jacket, while she carried her essentials in a mustard handbag.
Spoiler photographs also seemingly confirm the couple’s split as they were seen arriving to film the show’s reunion separately.
Despite this, Lucinda cut a glamorous figure as she stepped out of her vehicle in a glitzy gold sparkling flared jumpsuit, styled with yellow platform heels.
Meanwhile, Timothy also stepped out solo, looking suave in black trousers, a dark shirt and a blue pinstripe blazer.
The couple appeared to be filming arrival scenes at the reunion separately, confirming the breakup.
During Monday’s episode, the couple had a huge fight after Lucinda travelled to Melbourne with Timothy to stay at his home and meet his friends.
Lucinda was left stunned after learning what Timothy is usually like in a relationship while speaking to his best friend Shane.
Shane described Timothy as a ‘doter’, adding: ‘He loves to take care of, he loves to have somebody to nurture and be the protector.’
Lucinda looked visibly shocked upon hearing his remarks as she remained disappointed she hadn’t seen that side of her partner.
‘It’s a little bit bittersweet to say at this stage, but I’m starting to realise I want a lot more for myself,’ she admitted to cameras.
Later that night, Lucinda was also left exasperated after Timothy disappeared for seven hours, despite saying he would only be gone for an hour.
The next day, Lucinda took Timothy on a picnic in a bid to discuss their issues, but things quickly blew up between the pair as they became embroiled in a row.
‘This whole experience I haven’t felt welcome, I’ve tried my best to come into your world but Tim you haven’t let me in,’ Lucinda told her partner.
‘Tim I find you very moody and I get it’s tough for you but at the same time I need to have fun.’
However, Timothy said he felt emotionally exhausted, sharing his exasperation before storming off.
As Lucinda called his name, he then became overcome with anger as he fumed: ‘I don’t want to f**king talk! F**k me!’
Lucinda looked dejected as she said: ‘I deserve better than this, I really do.’
Seemingly confirming the end of their romance, she added: ‘I do adore Tim and wish and hope for the best, but what I’m getting and what he’s got to give, respectfully it’s not for me.’
