Married At First Sight star Adam Nightingale has revealed ‘romance’ with co-star Amy Kenyon following his icy marriage breakdown with Polly Sellman.
The TV personality, 33, tied the knot with careers advisor Polly, 28, on the hit E4 show but they decided to go their separate ways in November 2024.
But Adam has now told the Sun that he never speaks to his ex-wife and is not missing married life.
He also confessed where his relationship is with Amy, 29, as he explained their was chemistry between the two of them.
Adam told the publication: ‘I don’t speak to Polly, we haven’t spoken in a long time.
‘I’m not missing married life but I am missing everyone, we were one big family.’
‘Me and Amy – who knows what will happen in the future, at the minute we’re just really good friends’, he added.
‘I feel like there is chemistry between me and Amy. We do flirt a lot, there’s a lot of flirt banter – whether something progresses, who knows.’
He then revealed that he likes how it is currently and they are just friends that flirt with each other.
Adam and Polly called it quits days before they were meant to say their vows.
Viewers watched the combative couple sling insults during a dinner party, with the career advisor branding her groom a ‘f*****g narcissist’.
Adam fumed: ‘If you’re going to frustrate me and moan at me all day, why would I want to come home and have sex with you?’, before letting his chair crash to the ground as he got to hit feet.
Polly then hit back: ‘You’ve led me on, you’ve f***** me about, and you’ve p***** me right off’ before storming off.
A source told The Sun: ‘Polly and Adam really tried to make it work and weathered many storms during the experiment but at final vows, they realise their relationship has run its course and call it a day’.
‘It’s all quite emotional viewing after the rollercoaster journey they have been on, and fans will see how it all plays out tomorrow night’.
Before adding: ‘Many will be gutted as lots of viewers were rooting for them to work out despite seemingly having the odds stacked against them.’
Following the explosive row fans predicted their future and concluded the pair were better off apart.
One penned: ‘Polly he doesn’t fancy you for f*** sakes’: ‘PLOT TWIST: Adam got exactly what we wanted, pushed and pushed Polly until she popped off so now he can humiliate her and look like the victim so he’s not the bad guy when he says no at final vows’: ‘Polly has managed to make every single dinner party about her’.
‘Adam really haven’t gave a f*** this episode, this has built up for MONTHS of Polly’s sh** and I’m here for it’: ‘If Adam is so awful and such a narcissist why is Polly so desperate for a crumb of his attention?’: ‘Adam never liked polly, but kept saying stay not because he wanted to make it work but because he wanted to be famous… he was also concerned with not looking like a d**… but you’re still a d** mate’.
And marriage life wasn’t amazing for Amy either as their fight came after viewers were left appalled as Luke took a swipe at his wife Amy.
Luke called her ‘bloated’ as she seethed in return: ‘I’m absolutely fuming, he’s calling me hideous!’ while they took part in the homestays part of the series.
This involves visiting both their loved ones and local areas to see how they fit into each other’s lives, with Amy taking her new husband home to Blackburn.
When Amy showed him around her childhood home Luke saw an old photo of her on the staircase.
He shockingly then said she looked ‘bloated’ in the picture from a trip to Ibiza and that she was ‘skinnier’ now.
‘I prefer you now, is this before the glow up?’ he asked, as she sarcastically said ‘thanks’.
He added: ‘You look stunning there, but you look stunning here more. You look skinnier now than in there.
‘You look skinnier now than in here. In here you look… bloated.’
She then told the cameras: ‘I’m absolutely fuming right now. Luke’s saying I basically look hideous in this photo.
‘Nothing’s changed I just had my teeth done. Bit of filler in my lip. That’s it. Glow up? Bloated?!’
