Mafs Stars Jacqui Burfoot And Clint Rice Ask Their Fans To Buy Them Flowers After She Was Caught Out In An Embarrassing Online Gaffe

If you want to show your support to MAFS stars Jacqui Burfoot and Clint Rice, you can simply say it with flowers.

The newly engaged couple took to Instagram on Wednesday to urge fans to send them bunches of blooms to brighten up Clint’s luxe Tasmanian digs.

Clint, 44, and Jacqui, 29, both shared a clip that showed the reality bride holding onto a bouquet that featured roses, chrysanthemums, and hydrangeas, as Clint’s Samoyed pooches gather at Jacqui’s feet.

Jacqui can be seen bending down to allow Clint’s dogs to sniff the flowers and both seemed quite taken with the classy arrangement.

The controversial couple were also apparently fans of the bouquet, admitting that they were eager to keep those arrangements coming.

Captioning the post, the couple wrote: ‘the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree,’ referencing the pooches’ penchant for all things floral.

The lovebirds then added that they were not adverse to receiving flowers gratis, even providing followers with the details of their preferred florist.

‘If anyone wants to send us flowers anytime @westtamarflowers have our address on file,’ they shared.

Jacqui and Clint’s stunt comes after Jacqui was caught red-handed making a rather embarrassing online gaffe.

Harrison Boon, who starred on the 2023 season, took to TikTok this week to call out the jewellery maven for supporting her own fan funding campaign.

‘She’s [Jacqui] downloaded this app called Buy Me A Coffee,’ Harrison began the clip.

Continuing, the reality star gave viewers the low-down on the platform, explaining that it was a ‘fun and easy’ way for fans to support their favorite stars.

‘Fans being the important word here,’ Harrison added cheekily.

He then went on to share a screenshot of Jacqui’s Buy Me A Coffee page which is calling for a minimum donation of $8 – a tad higher than the national average of $5.50 for a cup of joe.

It appears that Jacqui’s coffee request has not resonated with fans.

At the time of publishing, the page only had one follower – Jacqui herself.

‘Jacqui has downloaded the app where her fans can buy her a coffee. But no one would buy Jacqui a coffee for $8 because, who in their right mind would,’ Harrison said.

Harrison then pointed out that Jacqui herself had commented on the page in an effort to drum up hype.

‘So, Jacqui decided to become a supporter of herself and what did Jacqui’s message to herself say, you might ask?’ he said.

‘Jacqui writes, in the third person, to herself, “Thank you for all the laughs. You were our favourite bride of all time. Never a dull moment.”‘

Jacqui became known as one of the most controversial brides in recent MAFS memory due to her tumultuous relationship with ex-Ryan Donnelly.

Following their less-than-amicable split, it was revealed that Jacqui and Clint, who was paired with Lauren Hall, had struck up a romance.

The couple then shocked fans by announcing their engagement during a Married At First Sight viewing party last month.

‘We haven’t set a wedding date yet, but we’re hoping it will be between January and March next year,’ Jacqui said in a recent Instagram clip.

‘We’re actually ready for kids and babies.

‘Personally, I want to get married before I get pregnant. I don’t want to be dealing with the drama of being pregnant and having a wedding dress be altered throughout my pregnancy.

‘We’re very keen to get married ASAP.’
