The stars of Married At First Sight reunited for a glamorous celebration at Burleigh Pavilion on the Gold Coast on Sunday.
Jonathan McCullough and Ellie Dix, who will celebrate their one year anniversary on Monday, were spotted dining with co-stars Timothy Smith, Tim Calwell and Andrea Thompson.
Jono and Ellie, who were initially matched with other partners on MAFS, seemed utterly smitten as they posed together, sharing cheek-to-cheek smiles.
The couple’s happiness was contagious, with Jono radiating a laid-back vibe in a crisp white linen shirt and shorts.
Ellie stunned in a form-fitting, pastel yellow dress that accentuated her figure with its elegant cut-out detail.
The stylish group looked every bit the former reality TV stars, embracing relaxed but chic styles perfect for the coastal setting.
Tim Calwell opted for a casual look in a white tee and shorts, keeping it simple yet sharp.
Andrea Thompson brought a touch of boho-chic with her flowing green floral maxi dress, complete with off-shoulder sleeves and a loose wave hairstyle that added to her carefree vibe.
Meanwhile, Timothy Smith sported a classic black button-up shirt paired with jeans, letting his tattooed arms add a hint of edginess to the otherwise laid-back lunch affair.
The sighting comes just days after Ellie and Jono announced that they started their own cosmetic company together.
‘We have some really exciting news. We have started a company together and it is a cosmetic company,’ she told fans.
‘So, I am going back to work as an injector and I am so excited. I literally became the director of the company yesterday.
‘We have found a really cool space for me to work out of… we’re just working on some finer details.
‘We are hoping to open in about a month, but we’ll see how that goes… I will let everyone know when my booking system goes live.’
Ellie went on to tell followers she will offer other skin treatments in addition to injectables, saying ‘all the regulations have changed in my industry’.
‘We’re also not allowed to say that word [injectables] anymore… It’s really hard to advertise certain things,’ she said.
Nevertheless, Ellie appeared hopeful about the success of her new business and thanked boyfriend Jono for setting the entire business up for her.
She added: ‘He has worked so hard behind the scenes… it has been a monster. Thank you so much Jono, you’re amazing, love you.’
Jono and Ellie caused controversy on this year’s season of MAFS when their cheating drama was exposed while Jono was married to bride Lauren Dunn.
Jono revealed when he really started dating co-star Ellie Dix during the explosive Reunion Grand Finale.
The health business owner, 39, was in the hot seat as the participants took to the couch in front of the relationship experts for the final time.
When Jono was asked to give the timeline of his relationship with Ellie, 32, he admitted: ‘About a week after Final Vows I made the decision to reach out to Ellie [about the text messages].’
‘I wanted to call her and let her know what had happened… I gave her a call and said s**t’s gone down,’ he added.
Despite Jono’s attempts to downplay his interactions with Ellie prior to their relationship, his former bride Lauren, 32, was not convinced of their innocence.
Bringing up the secret texts Jono shared with Ellie after the brunette left the experiment, Lauren said: ‘The volume of messages… it just seemed like the getting to know you stages of them liking each other.’
Jono insisted the pair are ‘so happy’ while Ellie said she felt she had ‘won Married At First Sight’.
The pair have been going strong since the series ended and have recently revealed that babies may be on the cards for them in the future.
During an Instagram Q&A late last month, Gold Coast-based Jono told followers where he saw himself in five years – and the answer included a family.
‘Living in Palm Beach, running a business (or two) with Ellie, in a house of our dreams, with maybe 2.5 children,’ he said.
