Married At First Sight’s Evelyn Ellis has given a sweet insight into her relationship with castmate Duncan James.

Evelyn jumped on a TikTok trend showing how far she and Duncan had come since appearing on Season 10 of MAFS. During the show, Evelyn was matched with Rupert Bugden and Duncan with Alyssa Barmonde.

Evelyn and Duncan got together after the experiment and have gone from strength-to-strength ever since.

The TikTok trend sees people share their skepticism about a relationship in the beginning before switching to footage showing how it all worked out for the best.

In the video, Evelyn shares footage of the moment that changed everything for her and Duncan – the first time she and Duncan laid eyes on each other, when she and Rupert walked into their first Dinner Party.

“[Real] footage of me & Duncan James meeting for the first time,” she captioned it.

Then the video switches to sweet moments from Evelyn and Duncan’s relationship, which she captioned “us now”.

Fans of the couple loved the video showing a happy ending.

“I called it as soon as you entered! Perfect match, so happy for you both,” one follower commented.

“You guys give me hope there is real love out there. I was silently cheering you two on from my lounge before you were even together,” said another.

“Thanks for your sweet words,” Evelyn replied. “THERE’S HOPE FOR US ALL.”

In March 2024 the pair told 9Entertainment about how they got together after their MAFS relationships came to an end.

“Mardi Gras [last year] was the first time we kissed, so I thought that meant we were a couple after that,” Duncan began. “But Evelyn didn’t…”

Following that night, he knew he had to make things official.

“We were at a restaurant in Manly,” Duncan recalled. “We’d been on a couple of dates… there wasn’t many people in the restaurant actually.

“I didn’t realise you had to officially ask someone, ‘Will you be my partner?'” he admitted.

Evelyn jumped in, “I’m old school!”

That’s when Duncan popped the dating question.

“It nearly felt like a proposal but I was actually just proposing for someone to be my girlfriend,” he laughed.
