Mafs Couple Jeff And Rhi Still Going Strong As They Give Fans An Update About Their Relationship

They’re the couple no one saw coming – but Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels have defied the odds to become the surprise success story of Married At First Sight 2025.

And on Tuesday, the couple took to Instagram to give fans a raw and real update on where their relationship stands- nearly one year after tying the knot on national television.

In a series of loved-up photos, the pair looked closer than ever.

In one shot, Jeff and Rhi snuggled up on a couch for a cosy selfie – Jeff wearing a white cap and black tee, while Rhi kept it casual in a brown shirt and minimal makeup, her dark hair swept back effortlessly.

In another cheeky image, the duo were captured inside a car with Rhi behind the wheel looking effortlessly glam in a sleeveless cream outfit and sleek black sunglasses.

Meanwhile Jeff sipped from a brown bottle, flashing his silver watch and sporting retro frames.

A third photo showed the pair embracing their goofy side – posing in bed with nasal strips plastered across their noses as they pulled funny faces at the camera, radiating the kind of comfort only couples truly in sync can achieve.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail Australia, the couple confirmed they are still going strong.

‘We got married on the 25th of July last year, so July coming up,’ Rhi revealed. ‘It’s crazy to think it would be our one-year anniversary since walking down the aisle.’

Jeff chimed in, ‘Yeah, we are feeling great. Can’t believe it’s all done and dusted. It’s a little bit sad to be honest.’

Reflecting on their reunion dinner party, the couple said they weren’t nervous to return – rather, they found it entertaining to see the other cast members unload.

‘We obviously heard about the Jacqui and Clint situation, so we weren’t shocked about that at all,’ Rhi said, before admitting with a laugh, ‘I was going around spreading it.’

The reunion episode also featured a milestone moment for the couple, with Jeff telling Rhi he loved her for the first time on camera.

‘It was genuine,’ Rhi said. ‘That was the first time that we had said, ‘I love you.’

Jeff also touched on his decision to speak up for fellow castmate Carina during her fiery confrontation with groom Paul Antoine.

‘That’s who I was throughout the experiment. Obviously, sometimes it doesn’t get shown, but every time I saw something I didn’t agree with, I did speak up,’ he explained.

The couple have been rumoured to appear on The Block, but say nothing is confirmed – yet.

‘There’s been all this chat about us going on The Block,’ Rhi said. ‘Everyone this morning has asked us, ‘Is that really happening?’ We’re like… we have no idea. But we hope so.’

For now, their focus is on enjoying life and planning their next step – possibly moving in together.

Asked to reveal the quirkiest thing they’ve learned about one another, Jeff joked, ‘Rhi’s a bit of a nerd.’

When asked about their intimacy, Rhi candidly said: ‘Our sex life was actually great when we met a year and a half ago.

That was never the issue. I think timing was the issue… but no, this time around, it’s better.’

The couple say they’re proud to be one of the experiment’s only genuine success stories—and they had some advice for future participants.

‘Be yourself from the get-go. Don’t be afraid to be your most authentic, genuine self,’ Rhi said.

‘You can’t pretend to be someone you’re not,’ Jeff added. ‘That’s the reason you would’ve gotten on the show in the first place.’

When asked if he ever had to propose, Jeff replied: ‘I probably wouldn’t do it at a public event with heaps of randoms.

‘I’d just do it with some close friends and family around… it’d be really authentic and a special moment.’

Looks like MAFS may have actually found its fairytale ending after all.
