LOVE Island star Will Young has broken his silence on marriage rumours after fans were left convinced he had tied the knot with Jessie Wynter.
The fan-favourite couple were left subjected to a stream of marriage rumours after Will bought Jessie a card that read “wife” on Valentine’s Day.
Will, who is working with TikTok as the host of their Comic Relief live stream, confirmed exclusively to The Sun that the pair had not had a secret wedding despite a number of fan theories.
Speaking the day after the pair’s first anniversary of being a couple, the farmer told us: “You have not missed any secret wedding!
“Me and Jessie are going amazing. We were talking the other day about how fast time flies.
“We both can’t believe it has been one year since the show, it has absolutely flown by.
“Right now, we could not be any happier to be honest.”
Will and Jessie have kept fans up to date with all the goings-on in their relationship on social media and their followers have watched as Jessie moved from Australia to relocate to Will’s farm in order for the couple to spend as much time together as possible.
His candid social media videos have landed Will the role of backstage host for this year’s Comic Relief celebrations where he will be bringing his followers up to date with all the behind the scenes action from the charity telethon live on TikTok.
The reality TV star said how it was one of the “proudest moments” of his career to be able to work with such a formidable charity after skyrocketing to fame.
Will has already taken part in a number of campaigns in order to raise cash for the yearly Red Nose Day fundraiser and has been encouraging his followers to donate online through TikTok’s live gifting service.
A slew of creators on the platform have seen their fans donate money to Comic Relief on their live streams with TikTok having raised more than £600,000 in the last year alone as part of their live gifting partnerships.
Ahead of his hosting duties this evening, Will has even committed to dying his hair red for the cause.
Will said: “It might have been a little bit silly on my behalf but when I went live on TikTok with Comic Relief as one of the pushes to reach a goal, I said if I reach 50,000 likes on the live, I would do it.
“I said, ‘come on guys, if we hit this goal, I will dye my hair red,’ and I didn’t realise how much 50,000 likes was and the fans hit it in about ten minutes.”
Will told us that he and Jessie had been to purchase some red hair dye and he even managed to convince her to follow suit and undergo her own hair transformation.
He added: “Jessie has been such a great support throughout the Comic Relief campaign.
“Don’t hold me to this but I think she is going to be dying her hair red as well!”
Will further teased that his backstage live stream would bring “vibes” as he confirmed his hopes to chat to the slew of A-list Red Nose Day hosts including Maya Jama and Sir Lenny Henry.
