Love Is Blind season 6 was an eventful one, to say the least, and one of this season’s main characters, Chelsea Blackwell, is keeping viewers on their toes with a new accusation against her ex-fiancé Jimmy. Chelsea bears credit for perhaps the most notable moment of Love Is Blind season 6 when she compared herself to the entertainment icon Megan Fox. The comment has now become one of the most unforgettable moments of the series as the topic continues to circulate. Aside from that, Chelsea and Jimmy were widely followed for having the most dramatic ups and downs.
In an interview on the podcast show Stress Free SOULutions, Chelsea claims Jimmy lied to her about what he was doing and went out to bars with his friends without inviting her. She started her side of the story by saying that Jimmy had asked if he could stay in his own apartment temporarily, which she agreed to. While he was there, she says he “butt dialed” her shortly after telling her he was supposedly “so tired” and “in bed.”
Chelsea claims she could hear a bunch of people in the background, “all the girls,” she recounts hearing them “talking about the next bar they’re going to.” Chelsea said she couldn’t believe that Jimmy had “the nerve” to Facetime her, pretending he was in bed when he was actually going out with a group of friends. Chelsea was painted as somewhat overdramatic during an argument referencing this situation during the show. Her memory of what happened clearly shows her reaction to the moment viewers saw was justified. “I was dumbfounded,” she said.
Are Chelsea & Jimmy Together?
Chelsea and Jimmy’s ending in Love Is Blind season 6 was upsetting, regardless of their frequent fighting. However, shortly after the last episodes were dropped, they sparked dating rumors when they visited each other recently. At the reunion, they were evidently still broken up and also still bickering over what went down between them. It wouldn’t be super shocking if they did end up together, though, as there were moments when viewers were rooting for them due to them both having individually redeeming qualities.
Chelsea was deemed “clingy” by Jimmy on the show and often remarked as “annoying” by viewers for her emotional reactions to her and Jimmy’s relationship issues. However, her recollection of events surrounding his bar hopping with friends paints her in an entirely different light. If true, Chelsea was surely valid in the way she responded to Jimmy having female friends and doesn’t seem to have been overreacting to his going out habits. In one of the aired arguments, Jimmy defended himself by claiming he went out very briefly to the bar.
Chelsea and Jimmy didn’t make it to the altar, and now it seems that is what was best for them. If Chelsea’s accusations against Jimmy are true, he doesn’t seem ready to be married yet. It is always unsettling to hear Love Is Blind stars reveal that editing can sometimes show inauthentic moments or personality traits, but those rooting for her can be relieved to see she was given a platform to tell her side.
