Kyle Richards addressed the recent cancelation of her estranged husband‘s Netflix series, Buying Beverly Hills, while appearing on Amazon Live earlier this week.

While also sharing her daughters’ reactions to the news, teasing what is to come on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and revealing if she followed Thomas Girardi‘s trial, Kyle, 55, looked back on the production of the upcoming episodes and spoke of who will surprise viewers the most.

“The fans have been very upset about Buying Beverly Hills. So many people are like, ‘Why?’ I’ve seen articles about, ‘Why would they do that?’ So who knows? You never know what will happen with that,” Kyle said on Amazon Live on August 27.

In addition to starring Mauricio, 54, Kyle’s daughters, Farrah Aldjufrie, 35, Alexia Umansky, 28, and Sophia Umansky, 24, were also featured. However, as Kyle pointed out, they “never wanted to be on TV.”

“They’re all businesswomen. They only care about business,” she explained. “They found it very overwhelming to shoot ‘Buying Beverly Hills.’ They came to me in tears so many times… They never cared about being on TV… [They said], ‘I can’t believe how difficult this is from everything from personal stuff to scheduling.’ I mean, Alexia was in tears one day just having to find three things to wear… I think they were a little like, ‘Oh okay that’s too bad.’ But they were not very upset to be honest.”

“They would love it if it happened again, but they are very focused on selling real estate, so I’m proud of them for that,” she added.

Moving on to RHOBH season 14, Kyle said there was “a lot of shift in alliances” between the cast and tough times ahead for her and Dorit Kemsley, 48, both of whom are currently separated from their respective partners, Mauricio and Paul “PK” Kemsley, 57.

“The dynamics have changed a lot within the group. There’s a lot of fun stuff. A lot of lifestyle things that you guys like to see I think. But there’s drama of course,” she shared. “There’s times that we laugh so hard, I’m literally crying from laughing… It’s tough this season for me. I think for Dorit… I think you guys are going to really like it overall.”

While Thomas, 85, the estranged husband of Erika Jayne, 53, was found guilty of fraud earlier this week after stealing millions from his former clients, Kyle said she had not been keeping up with his trial.

“I have not. I haven’t seen anything about that,” she told her audience.

Kyle then confirmed that she and her castmates have wrapped filming on the new season, saying, “We are done filming, so now it’s just interviews.”

As for who will surprise fans the most this season, Kyle said, “Maybe Dorit.”

“Because I don’t feel like she was quite herself. Obviously, she’s also been having a hard time in her personal life. I think there’s some things there. It kind of surprised me,” she admitted.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 14 is expected to begin airing on Bravo sometime later this year or early next year.
