Kyle Richards is sharing an update on where she stands with estranged husband Mauricio Umansky as a new report is claiming Mauricio is “head over heels” for his new girlfriend Nikita Kahn.
Just one month after the Buying Beverly Hills alum, 54, was first spotted with the Ukrainian-American model, 33, in Greece, where they enjoyed a loved-up vacation amid Mauricio’s separation from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle, 55, and days after they were caught frolicking in the ocean in Mexico, an insider is sharing new details about their relationship.
“Mauricio is head over heels with Nikita, he’s not dating anyone else and seeing her every chance he gets,” an insider told Life & Style on August 27. “He didn’t want to make a show of things, but he’s glad things are out in the open now.”
“Even before the trip to Mykonos they’d been seeing each other a while, like two or three months,” the insider added. “But that trip was magical and took them to a whole new level.”
As for how Kyle has been handling the new romance, the source added, “She’s trying to see the bigger picture, but it stings.”
Meanwhile, during an Amazon Live appearance on August 27, Kyle said all was going well with Mauricio, although she didn’t address his new relationship, which her sister Kathy Hilton admitted was difficult for her to see.
“We get along very well. There’s no arguing or anything like that. There never was. It’s still the same,” said Kyle.
When asked if Mauricio will be appearing on the upcoming season of the RHOBH, Kyle said, “Yes, he does show up on the show this season.”
After Mauricio and Nikita went public last month, an insider said that after seeing her estranged spouse kissing the much younger woman, Kyle was ready to divorce.
“She is more than ready to divorce Mauricio,” an insider told Life & Style in July. “She’s ready to take him to the cleaners! Kyle’s been there from the very beginning. She propped Mauricio up all these years, and now she’s ready to take him down a few notches.”
Then, weeks later, after another source said Kyle felt “humiliated” by the photos of Mauricio and Nikita kissing, an insider suggested that Mauricio had been fueled to move on from his marriage to Kyle by her alleged flirtation with Morgan Wade, 29.
“[It was] really grinding his gears seeing Kyle play this are-they-or-aren’t-they lovers guessing game with Morgan to draw attention to herself,” explained a Life & Style source.
“The fact is that Mauricio had really hoped their marriage would fall back into place, but he figured he was a sucker letting grass grow under his feet while Kyle took her time making up her damned mind!” the insider continued. “Now, he has forced her hand — and he doesn’t feel bad about it one bit!”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 14 is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime later this year or early next year.
