Katie Maloney reacted to Tom Sandoval‘s lawsuit against Ariana Madix, and his decision to fire his attorney and dismiss the complaint, on the latest episode of her shared podcast with Dayna Kathan.

After previously shading Sandoval, 42, in an Instagram comment, telling him he “f*cking [sucked]” and denying Ariana, 39, obtained unauthorized access to his phone, the 37-year-old Vanderpump Rules star questioned Sandoval’s claims of being tricked into suing his ex-girlfriend.

“I had the fire of a thousand suns in me. I wanted to punch someone, anyone,” Katie admitted on the July 24 episode of Disrespectfully of the moment she found out about Sandoval’s complaint. “It was basically trying to level the blame in the whole cross-complaint or lawsuit that was against him from [Rachel ‘Raquel’ Leviss].”

In Sandoval’s case against Ariana, he accused her of gaining access to his phone and his racy videos of Raquel, 29, without his permission before making copies and allegedly sending them to others, which Ariana has denied.

Although Sandoval has since suggested that he was misled into suing Ariana and that he didn’t understand the legal action he was taking, Katie wondered why he would deactivate his Instagram account before the filing if he was so in the dark about what it meant.

“Why are you gonna deactivate your Instagram account ahead of time if you’re not preparing for blowback?” she asked. “I do think he was ill-advised and yeah, probably didn’t understand the full weight of what it was gonna be, but you were still being advised, and you probably should have not done it to begin with.”

According to Katie, she believed that if Sandoval had been told to deactivate his social media account prior to the filing, that should have been a “good indication” that it was “probably gonna be pretty damaging.”

Moving on to Ariana, Katie admitted to being bothered by people who have had less compassion for Ariana due to the success she’s seen since Sandoval’s affair with Raquel.

“I don’t like the attitude of just because she has amazing things going on in her life, she’s got a wonderful boyfriend and she’s in Fiji that what happened wasn’t painful and awful and a terrible thing to experience. That can still 100 percent true and exist in her mind and wounds in her,” she noted. “Would it be more fair or unfair for them to be suing and pulling this sh*t out if these opportunities weren’t happening? Excuse me? The logic, it doesn’t logic.”

In conclusion, Katie added of Sandoval, “I hate that man so much.”

Vanderpump Rules is currently on pause ahead of its 12th season.
