The family of Married At First Sight star Jessika Power is calling for donations to help with the costs of her father’s funeral.
Jessika, 32, took to her Instagram Story on Sunday to announce the heartbreaking news of her father’s death in an emotional post.
She shared a photo while sitting on her father’s lap, embracing him tightly with a warm and loving smile.
‘…doesn’t feel real. We love you dad. I hope you’re up there having a port with your mates and looking down on us missing you forever,’ she wrote.
Following the heartbreaking announcement, Jessika’s brother Rhyce Power took to his Instagram story to announce that a GoFundMe page had been set up to assist in paying for the funeral.
‘Hey guys doing a go fund me page for my dad who just passed away and small donation for the funeral will help,’ he wrote.
Set up by her sister Eliza’s partner Michael West, the GoFundMe page is titled ‘In Memory Of Ezy Halls’.
‘On behalf of Ezy’s family, we have been left completely shocked by his sudden and unexpected passing, as has everybody who knew Ezy,’ he wrote.
‘Unfortunately we have been left without a funeral plan as it was so unexpected, and we would greatly appreciate some assistance to help pay for his funeral, and other associated costs.’
‘We do not expect anything at all but even five dollars can help us to sort out his affairs and funeral costs.’
Jessika told Daily Mail Australia that her whole family were pitiching in along with the fundraising campaign.
‘The GoFundMe is to help pay for my fathers funeral as he passed suddenly overnight and even though the family are all donating to help, however a funeral is costly especially when it is as sudden as this,’ Jessika said.
‘My sisters fiancé created the page also before I was aware, so there must be more payments that have been presented to him in order to make the page.’
The call for donations comes after Jessika previously claimed she makes as much as $110,000 per month on OnlyFans.
Jessika who is one of the Australia’s most successful stars on the adults-only platform, detailed her staggering earnings on her best and worst months during an interview on the Playtime Podcast.
‘Worst month is $30,000,’ Jess told the shocked hosts. ‘But my best month is $110,000.’
Jessika previously claimed she was earning more than most London businessmen on the platform.
Sharing a satisfied selfie to Instagram, Jessika wrote: ‘Sitting on a train down to London surrounded by men in business suits knowing full well I make the most money from capitalising on my reality TV fame.’
