THERE’S a new character in RTE Fair City and viewers have all spotted her.
Tonight, Dean found a drunk James slumped in Emma’s front garden.
Not wanting James to ruin her party, Emma banished him to his bedroom.
A young woman, Daisy, arrived at Emma’s party claiming to be James’ date.
James remembered he met Daisy at the club the night before. Tommy mistakenly believed that James had hired Daisy for the night.
Daisy charmed Emma, but Tommy and Rafferty were convinced she’s an escort.
Emma was horrified to learn that Daisy was an escort and planned to pay her off to leave. Emma frantically tried to get the cash together for Daisy.
TikTok star Kayleigh Trappe stars as Daisy.
The Monaghan star was announced earlier this month as one of the 12 celebrities who will be fighting it out on the dancefloor to lift next year’s Glitterball on Dancing With The Stars.
RTE viewers all spotted the star straight away and complimented her on her acting skills.
Brian said: “OMG – I thought that was you, was half asleep after Xmas dinner. And thought I dreamt it. Good job amigo.”
John commented: “Brilliant.”
Kerry said: “You’ll be getting a full time job outta this. Super bit of acting.”
Another viewer wrote: “Congratulations! Great acting. You’re a natural.”
Elsewhere tonight, Mairead was irritated to see Tyler on Christmas morning.
Dean revealed the theme for his and Mairead’s “anti-Christmas” was the Mexican Day of the Dead.
DAMIEN’S RETURN
Dean and Mairead were shocked when Damien arrived unannounced.
Mairead and Dean tried to hide their disappointment at Damien’s arrival.
Mairead realised they needed to keep Damien away from Tyler.
Mairead was forced to reveal to Damien that Tyler was in town but lied that he had only just shown up.
Dean inadvertently revealed to Damien that Tyler has been tormenting Mairead.
MAIREAD AND DAMIEN
Tyler was thrown when Damien asked for his forgiveness. At peace, Damien informed Tyler that he forgave him for Laura but vowed to never give up seeking justice.
Tyler was bitter to realise he no longer held any power over Damien.
Damien revealed that he put in the hard work, and he and Mairead agreed that he didn’t need to return to the clinic.
Mairead informed a lovelorn Dean that Damien was back for good.
Dean looked for refuge at Leo’s for the night. Daisy informed Emma that she was not a sex worker but was insulted by Emma’s lack of respect.
CAROL AND J.J.
Damien and Mairead believed their troubles were behind them, unaware that Tyler was watching them, plotting revenge.
Meanwhile, Carol was charmed when J.J. dropped a bottle of champagne on her doorstep.
Sharon gets Carol glammed up for Emma’s party. Carol tried to convince Sharon to return Hayley’s engagement ring to James in front of everyone at the party to ruin his day.
Sharon could see that Carol was smitten with J.J. and Nora sussed that J.J. was Steo’s father.
J.J. as surprised to learn that Steo didn’t have a family set up with Taylor.
JESS AND STEO
Carol was thrilled when J.J. arrived at her door, and they slept together.
Carol was sickened when Nora revealed that J.J. is a Nash.
Carol told J.J. she didn’t want anything to do with him. Carol took her anger out on James and cruelly threw Hayley’s engagement ring in his face in front of the party guests.
Also in tonight’s episode, Greg realised he left Taylor’s Christmas gift in Leo’s cab and freaked out when he learned the cab was on its way to Swords.
Greg was gutted when Leo failed to return Taylor’s present.
When Leo managed to locate a replacement toy last minute, Greg was forced to entrust Steo with minding Taylor.
Leo’s contact proved a dead end, but Greg had bigger problems when Steo wouldn’t answer his calls.
Steo reluctantly asked J.J. for help locating Taylor’s Christmas present. J.J. came through with Taylor’s present but warned Steo that he needs to sort out his life.
Steo let Greg take the praise for Taylor’s gift with Jess.
