DAYS spoilers made fans happy when Gwen finally stopped holding the idiot ball and figured out that her husband was shagging her best friend – at every possible opportunity. Sure, it took her walking in on them mid-act, but, hey, better late than never.

Now, Gwen (Emily O’Brien) has a revenge plan. Sure, she wants to stick it to Dimitri (Peter Porte). He made a fool of her and exploited her feelings and her neediness. But Dimitri was basically a stranger. “Matty” (Greg Rikaart) was supposed to be Gwen’s BFF. Can she ever forgive him?

On the one hand, Gwen has forgiven Leo for lying, blackmail, kidnapping, and murder. So, what’s another betrayal or two? On the other hand, all that lying and blackmail and kidnapping and murder was previously practiced on other people. This time, as the movie posters say, it’s personal.

But considering how long it took Gwen to figure out what was going on right underneath her nose, she didn’t want to rush into her revenge. She’s going to take her time and do it right. First, she’ll make Leo feel bad by claiming that she and Dimitri are constantly shagging. He confronted Dimitri, who denied it.

So all that means is that Gwen will change her tactics. Her next play will be to make Leo feel bad. Despite his hooking up with her husband, Leo still claims to love his Guinevere. So seeing her broken-hearted should have some effect on him.
Gwen can play up that side of it. Act a lot more devastated than she actually is. Remind Leo of how her Daddy abandoned her and her mommy didn’t love her, and Chad (Billy Flynn) didn’t appreciate being seduced by her, and, to summarize: Woe, woe is me. Leo wouldn’t want to do anything to add to Gwennie’s trauma would he?
