When Paulina (Jackée Harry) wants something, nothing gets in her way. She was furious that the acting mayor closed her precious baby’s bakery. So Paulina got herself named mayor by Abe (James Reynolds) in order to prove that nepotism has no place in Salem! (Trust us, it made sense in her head.) Her next step is to keep yelling at Abe about how much he loves her until he gives up and admits that he does. Abe is so overwhelmed he has to turn to Steve (Stephen Nichols) for advice.
DOOL Spoilers: Get Lost
In the meantime, Paulina is biding her time by flexing her muscles. The acting mayor made Shawn (Brandon Beemer) police chief. Obviously, any decision he made was wrong. Luckily, Paulina is here to rectify it. What will that mean for Jada (Elia Cantu) and Rafe (Galen Gering)?
Not that we disagree with Paulina completely. Shawn shouldn’t have been appointed in the first place. He is sinking into deeper and deeper despair. First over Bo (Peter Reckell), now over Victor (John Aniston). Getting fired probably won’t help.
Days of our Lives Spoilers: High School Confidential
Brady (Eric Marstolf) thought his high-school-to-now rivalry with Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) was over. Especially because Philip was presumed dead. But this is Salem. Nobody stays dead without a very good reason.
And Philip is done hiding. He is back in town. Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) has seen him. Kate (Lauren Koslow) knows, too. Now it’s Brady’s turn. He’ll be happy that there is obvious proof he didn’t kill Philip. But that means he’s now back. And Brady wasn’t looking forward to that.
