Days of our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, May 8, find Sloan and Melinda scrambling to make sure that EJ keeps their secret, while Johnny shares one of his own with dear old dad.

To Tell the Truth

Now that EJ knows Sloan (Jessica Sefraty) and Eric (Greg Vaughan) are raising Nicole’s (Arianne Zucker) son — but that the tot isn’t his biological child, he’s Eric’s — he’s got a tough decision to make. And Sloan and Melinda (Tina Huang) are determined to see to it that he makes the right one. Keep your mouth shut, Elvis, and you keep Nicole, and Sloan keeps Eric and Jude. A win-win for everybody…right?

Trouble on the Home Front

Especially now that Eric and Nicole are working together. He’s taking the pictures, and she’s writing the copy. And, in between, they’re talking behind their spouses’ backs. Especially Eric. He isn’t too happy with Sloan these days. And he thinks his ex-wife is the perfect person to discuss his current one with. He is just so incredibly stupid.

Grandpa Got Run Over By Some Bad News

No sooner has Johnny (Carson Boatman) dropped the bombshell on EJ that EJ — young, dashing, dapper, sexy, and did we mention young — EJ is about to be a grandfather, he also fills him in on the baby’s potential health challenges.

Luckily, they have the money to take care of a potentially medically fragile child. But Johnny thinks if he’s going to be a dad, he should also find a job. So can his daddy give him one? Thank you! Johnny is a grown-up!

Book Tok

Ava (Tamara Braun) and Harris (Steve Burton) have found Clyde’s (James Read) secret book! Yay! And they read about his secrets. Now they’re upset. Who expected that a criminal’s book might be full of criminal things?

Kid and Play

Now that we’ve met Holly’s (Ashley Puzemis) friend, Sophia (Madelyn Kientz, who was recently cast), and Tate’s (Leo Howard) friend, Aaron, can you see a teen love quad on the horizon? Remember Belle, Shawn, Phillip, and Chloe (and Brady)? Remember Ciara, Theo, Claire (and sometimes Chase)? So. Yeah. Like that.
