Abe (James Reynolds) is arguably one of the best mayors Salem has ever had. And, he intends to rise to the top again. He and Paulina (Jackée Harry) take to the town square to announce he’s ready to reclaim his role. Yes, Salemites, the real mayor is here.
There’s just one little problem…the current acting mayor. Clint Rawlings (Grayson Berry) has grown quite fond of his place in power and isn’t simply going to walk away. Abe is in for a run for his money and Clint is ready to rumble.

Meanwhile, Johnny (Carson Boatman) can’t hide his feelings for Chanel (Raven Bowens) any longer. He’s still very much in love with his ex-wife and wants her back. Does she still have feelings for him too?
Perhaps it’s time for Chanel to truly examine her feelings as well. She turns to Paulina as she sorts it all out. Chanel chose Allie over Johnny all those months ago and she meant it. But, with Allie gone and moving on, is there anything keeping her from rekindling a romance with Johnny?

Over in Iceland, Dimitri (Peter Porte) should be in a honeymoon haze but this getaway is anything but. Sure, he’s trying to pretend to be head over heels in love with his wife, but he’s not. It’s all a ploy and he’s falling for her best friend.
Adding to the drama is Leo (Greg Rikaart) showing up for the vacation too. Is this a messy move? Yes. But, he simply cannot help himself. It seems Dimitri has cast quite a magical spell on him.
