Could It Be Y&R’S Adam Newman To The Rescue When Jordan Strikes Next?

The Young and the Restless is taunting that the lives of Victor, Nikki, Victoria, and Nick Newman are all in danger. We’ve got to give credit to Claire’s Aunt Jordan. She is well on her way to succeeding where so many others have failed. She and Claire not only pulled the wool over the great Victor Newman’s eyes, but they’ve threatened everyone he loves. How funny would it be if the child he’s tortured the most ended up being the savior of them all?

The Young and the Restless: Endless Options

Sure, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) might prove to be the family heroes. Nick is good with his fists, and Victoria killed the last person who annoyed her (catch up on that story here). But, those are usually spontaneous acts. Victoria and Nick are good at going off half-cocked. That rarely works against someone with a plan as intricate as Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk).

Who’s the Man?

Victor (Eric Braeden) is smart. Victor knows best. The Great Victor Newman always gets the best of everyone. Well, except Claire (Hayley Erin) and Jordan got him pretty good this time, didn’t they? Could he be losing his touch? And with it, his ability to get the best of every situation? He might be even worse the next time Jordan strikes.

Super Woman Nikki

And Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is pretty resourceful, too. We’d lay odds that she could take on Jordan…if Claire hadn’t slipped her boss a bottle of vodka, leaving Nikki off the wagon. She’s pretty resourceful when she’s her best self. But not when the deck is stacked against her like this.

Adam Newman: Remember Me?

Victor has other children. Children he didn’t have with Nikki. Those children are less important. Victor barely remembers Abby (Melissa Ordway). He remembers Adam (Mark Grossman) because Adam constantly refuses to do what he’s told. Which is why Victor has to whip him into shape. How funny would it be if Adam refusing to do Victor’s bidding is what leads him to figure out what’s going on with his family — and riding to their rescue the next time the madwoman strikes?
