Harrison Boon has popped the question to his girlfriend Gina Ha.
The controversial Married At First Sight groom shared the good news in an Instagram post on Sunday.
The 34-year-old posted images of a delighted Gina showing off her diamond ring as the couple flew high over Uluru in the Northern Territory in a helicopter.
‘For a brief moment Gina was actually wearing the highest rock in Uluru’ he wrote in the caption alongside the images.
Once one firm ground, the couple shared a sweet kiss to celebrate their betrothment.
Gina, 29, and Harrison have been dating since early last year and in March 2023, he introduced her to his four-year-old son, August.
Harrison split from his on-screen ‘wife’ Bronte Schofield before the series ended last year.
The 28-year-old brutally dumped her husband Harrison after a honesty box challenge went horribly wrong.
Boon, who rose to fame on the 2023 series, prompted a social media furore earlier this year when he described a list of single MAFS brides as ‘unmarryables’.
He was accused of being ‘misogynistic’ by other MAFS stars after coining the ‘vile’ term and posting about a dating ‘danger zone’ for women of certain ages.
Harrison took to Instagram to share screenshots of former MAFS brides’ dating profiles and posts about finding a match, including those of his on-screen ‘ex-wife’ Bronte and Sandy Jawanda.
He then shared an article about The Bachelor’s Abbie Chatfield discussing her recent break-up and wrote alongside the post: ‘Another unmarryable [crying laughing emoji].’
Harrison also shared a screenshot of MAFS’ Lyndall Grace tearfully announcing her break-up from her boyfriend of five months, writing alongside the picture: ‘Sucks for you Lyndall.
‘At least you haven’t embarrassed yourself by saying over and over again how much better he was than Cam,’ he added sarcastically.
‘Now you can join the rest of the unmarryables on Hinge,’ he added.
His slew of controversial comments prompted outrage online, with a whole host of former MAFS stars taking to social media to respond to his ‘sexist’ posts.
