Brittany Cartwright is on a luxury vacation in Hawaii.
She posted photos of herself to Instagram on Thursday where she was modeling a revealing blue swimsuit with a crop top and skirt while in Maui.
This comes just a week after filing for divorce from Jax Taylor.
‘Aloha,’ the Valley and Vanderpump Rules star posted with a flower emoji. ‘Maui day 1,’ she continued, followed by two fire emojis.
Her vacation does look hot: in one sunny photo, she posed with toned friends in swimsuits in the ocean — men and women — who all look like they’re having lots of fun.
She posted a photo of beautiful, colorful sushi, too.
In April, Brittany shared that her ‘sexless marriage’ with Jax made her hit her ‘breaking point’.
‘I don’t want to be unhappy for the rest of my life,’ she said.
And by the looks of her Maui photos, she’s doing a great job becoming happier.
She filed for divorce last week, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for ending their five-year marriage, a few months after their separation.
Brittany, 35, shares three-year-old son, Cruz, with Jax, 45.
In an interview with DailyMail.com she explained how the birth of Cruz made her reevaluate her marriage.
‘Having a child really woke me up and lifted a veil a little bit of what I deserve and what I am going to put up with for the rest of my life,’ she said.
‘And I just knew that I had to… figure out what I want to do for my future and make things a super positive living situation for my son. That’s all that I care about.’
Jax recently revealed that he has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and PTSD and is looking forward to spending time with his son.
‘A little over a month ago, I checked into an intensive inpatient treatment facility scared of the unknown and what I would find out about myself,’ he posted on Instagram, accompanied by a black-and-white photo of himself reading on a couch.
‘After many years of knowing something was wrong but not knowing exactly what it was, I recently learned that I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder and PTSD,’ he continued.
‘It’s been a lot to process and an emotional time for me, however I’ve come home to my son with a new found sense of peace.’
‘It’s been an emotional month for him and he’s most looking forward to spending time with his son,’ a spokesperson for the reality star told USWeekly.
‘Brittany is seeking full custody,’ a source recently told the Daily Mail exclusively.
‘Giving him joint custody is not an option at this time and she does not expect him to fight her at all on it,’ the source said.
But, ‘Jax will have access to their son she will never ever deny him this.’
Brittany and Jax started dating in 2015, two years before he admitted to infidelity.
But they stayed together and got engaged in 2018. They married at the Kentucky Castle in Brittany’s home state in June 2019 and welcomed Cruz in 2021.
Their lavish wedding aired on Vanderpump Rules – and their divorce will play out on spin-off show The Valley.
The dramatic series follows the pair, as well as Kristen Doute and other members of their friendship group, as they navigate married life and parenthood in L.A.’s San Fernando Valley.
