Bride Who Hired Vanderpump Rules’ Tom Sandoval As Wedding Singer Reveals How It Went — And How Much It Cost (Exclusive)

A bride paid Tom Sandoval thousands of dollars to perform at her wedding.

In January 2023, Jenn Wright hired the Vanderpump Rules star and his cover band, Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras, to perform at her May 2023 nuptials in Santa Barbara, Calif. Because she had a friend with a connection to the band, she got a “discount” and only paid $16,000.

“It was honestly so much fun and I don’t think anybody left the dance floor,” Wright tells . “He was just super fun and got everyone pumped up.”

Because the wedding happened when the “Scandoval” controversy hit, Wright warned most of her wedding guests that Sandoval would be performing. Luckily, everyone seemed to agree that he was the life of the party.

“I think the overall sentiment was just kind of like, ‘Alright, like let’s see what they got,’ ” Wright says. “Once they took the stage, he had a blast. I think the whole band had a blast. Everyone was really into it.”

Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras mostly performed “fun” ’80s and ’90s songs.

The bride’s best friend, Taylor Ulrich, posted a clip of Sandoval at the wedding reception singing “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)” by The Proclaimers. “The dance floor was grooving despite the last episode of #traitors,” Ulrich wrote in the caption.

Ulrich was seemingly referring to the latest episode of The Traitors that aired Thursday, Feb. 13. In the episode, Sandoval “sung” scrambled nursery rhymes as a part of a challenge. While his “singing” made host Alan Cumming laugh, Sandoval added $20,000 to the prize pot.

The wedding reception video posted on Sunday, Feb. 16, amassed nearly 500,000 views and more than 700 comments in less than 24 hours.

“Incredible use of free will,” one TikTok user commented.

“My ego couldn’t handle him stealing my thunder on my wedding day 😂,” someone else wrote.

Commenters were most interested in how much it would cost to hire the Bravo star.

“All of you that were in the comments saying between $25,000 to $40,000 is accurate,” Ulrich said in a second TikTok video explaining how much Sandoval would typically charge for events.

“It was actually so fun. The band was really good,” Ulrich tells . “He’s a little off, but he’s still good.”
