Blue Bloods S13 Finale To Deliver The Comeback We All Lost Hope For

Fans are ready to give them a warm welcoming back, but not for very long.

Blue Bloods has been on air since 2010, and throughout its 13 seasons, it has seen a lot of actors come and go, including some of the original cast members.

However, leaving once doesn’t mean never coming back, and one of the actors who proves this is Jennifer Esposito, who hasn’t been seen on the show since she left in 2012. It hasn’t been easy, but fans are happy to see her back.
Detective Jackie Curatola, who’s also known as Danny’s ex-partner, was a regular character on the show until 2012, when her stay abruptly ended.

Despite the show’s explanation that Curatola experienced burnout, which led to her subsequent retirement, fans didn’t believe that was the reason at all.

Later, Esposito herself called out the CBS network for not granting her sick leave, paying her unfairly for her work, and firing her based on racial bias.

“CBS got rid of the only minority cast member so they can have an ALL WHITE CAST like CSI,” the actress expressed her feelings in a now-deleted tweet.

However, it looks like the conflict has been successfully resolved 11 years later, as Jennifer Esposito has agreed to return for the season 13 finale.

Another big surprise is to see Jackie Curatola back at work: it seems that she has overcome her mental problems and is now happy with her position as police chief.

This comeback was not expected at all, which makes it even more special. Now, fans of the original Blue Blood are in for a very nostalgic experience in the season finale.

In addition to Jennifer Esposito, another actress will be making a comeback. Sami Gayle will return to the drama after a 3-year break as Erin’s daughter, Nicky Reagan-Boyle.

All in all, the season 13 finale promises to be one of the biggest, most emotional episodes in Blue Blood history.

But don’t worry, this won’t be the last you see of the regular cast, as the show has already been renewed for season 14.

Tune in to CBS on Friday, May 19, for the Blue Bloods season 13 finale.
