RTE stars Doireann Garrihy and Jennifer Zamparelli have announced a “very special” opportunity for Dancing With The Stars fans.
The hit dance competition is set to return to screens this January with TikTok sensation Kayleigh Trappe and Olympic gold medalist Rhy McClenaghan amongst the celebrities taking part.
And fans of the show could be in with a chance of seeing the DWTS celebrities cha cha cha their way to the glitterball trophy live in studio.
In a short clip posted to Instagram, Doireann and Jennifer explained how viewers can apply to be a part of the show.
Jennifer beamed: “Okay we have a very special announcement. People ask this all the time.
“We could be in the street or we’re walking around the shops.”
Doireann humorously remarked: “Picking up dog poo is a strange one I’ve had.”
Jennifer remarked: “Wow, have you? That’s grim.”
The TV stars then stated in unison: “And the question is… can we get tickets for Dancing With The Stars?”
Jennifer excitedly exclaimed: “You actually can guys!”
Doireann grinned from ear-to-ear and clapped as she added: “Apply down below. Don’t delay and we might see you there.”
So for those who are looking to be a part of next years series, here’s how you can apply.
Applications to be part of the live studio audience are now open and all you have to do is email audience@shinawil.com with your details.
Limited availability will be available each week for audience members and those applying must be strictly over 18.
And RTE viewers were sent into a frenzy after the the news was announced.

You can watch season 8 of DWTS this Janurary, when it starts back on RTE One on Sunday, January 7.
Doireann and Jennifer will be back to host, while Arthur Gourounlian, Brian Redmond, Loraine Barry and newcomer, Karyn Byrne will return as judges.
This year, DWTS will welcome four new professional dancers including: Maciej Zieba, Rebecca Scott, Daniela Roze and Alex Vladimirov.
