Although she felt confident in herself, Ashley had a stunning realization on the Tuesday, February 13 episode of The Young and the Restless, and things may never be the same for her.
Scorched Earth
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) demanded to see Tucker (Trevor St. John) in his suite as soon as possible. Instead, Tucker met her downstairs because he’d left Audra (Zuleyka Silver) sleeping in his bed.
Downstairs, Tucker didn’t back down when Ashley tore into him. He couldn’t believe she woke him up just to rehash things. She thought it was despicable for him to pay off an entire restaurant’s staff just to gaslight her. Tucker realized that in Paris, Ashley learned his version of events was true, but she wasn’t convinced.
As they argued, Ashley made a vow to do everything in her power to keep both Dominic and Devon (Bryton James) away from him. She also wanted to ensure he was ruined professionally. She promised him pain…so much pain.
Tucker warned her to think twice, but Ashley remained undeterred, accusing him of not having a heart. She only had utter contempt for Tucker. He swore on Dominic that he didn’t bribe the staff in Paris.
Audra showed up, and Ashley rudely warned her about Tucker, too. She called out Audra’s classy move of sleeping with both Tucker and Kyle (Michael Mealor) before she stomped out of the GCAC. Later, upstairs, Tucker reassured Audra that she was his future, and he declared he wouldn’t allow Ashley to keep Dom or Devon from him.
Once she returned home, Ashley (once again) flashed back to the situation during her and Tucker’s honeymoon…but she remembered Tucker’s version. Ashley started crying, and when Traci (Beth Maitland) walked in, asking what was wrong, she replied, “I don’t know what’s happening to me, Traci.” It seemed Ashley truly began questioning what she thought happened in Paris. Is Tucker really gaslighting Ashley? Could Ashley be struggling with her mental health again?
