Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney may have just opened their new sandwich shop, Something About Her, in late May. But already, they’ve made a ton of cash from their merch.
Months into their West Hollywood run, the Vanderpump Rules stars have established themselves in the neighborhood, with their restaurant often being met with long lines of fans. However, they may be raking in more money with their popular merch.
According to recently filed court documents, shared on Reddit this week, Ariana, 39, and Katie, 37, have made more than $2 million on their Something About Her merch, which includes hoodies, sweatshirts, T-shirts, and hats ranging from $29 to $56.
“Since March 2023, products bearing and sold under the SOMETHING ABOUT HER mark have generated sales in excess of $1.8 million,” read a line of the document.
Another said, “On May 22, 2024, [Something About Her] opened the physical location of the SOMETHING ABOUT HER sandwich shop in West Hollywood.”
Meanwhile, the author of the post added, “So it’s been well over $2 million in sales of merchandise, since before March 2023 they had made ‘over $200k.’
As Pump Rules fans may know, Ariana and Katie released their line of merch a year before opening their restaurant, with one particular T-shirt giving a nod to Tom Sandoval, 42, and his post-affair complaint that Ariana would leave her T-shirt on during sex.
The shirt, which was offered for $34.99, said, “F–k Me in This T-Shirt,” and included a graphic photo of Ariana holding a sandwich.
While Ariana and Katie’s business is booming, they were recently faced with a lawsuit from their former chef, Penny Davidi, who claims they failed to honor a partnership agreement they made prior to the restaurant’s opening — and that they haven’t paid her as promised.
Penny also was the one who filed for a trademark for Something About Her, which Ariana and Katie opposed, filing their own petition for the trademark weeks ago.
Vanderpump Rules is on hiatus ahead of season 12.
