Ariana Madix Finally Addresses Tom Sandoval Blaming Lawyers For Suing Her Over Explicit Rachel Leviss Videos

Nearly a month after Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval’s shocking lawsuit against his ex, Ariana Madix briefly addressed the lawsuit.

Madix, 39, was sued in July by Sandoval, 40, for accessing his phone on March 1, 2023 and viewing explicit videos and photos of him and mistress Rachel Leviss without his permission, which ultimately ended their nearly nine-year relationship.

The lawsuit also alleges that Madix made copies of the videos and shared them with others without his consent.

Just one day later, though, Sandoval dropped the lawsuit and fired his lawyer Matt Geragos, ‘misled’ him about the filing.

Madix hasn’t addressed the lawsuit publicly, though she appeared on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live on Tuesday and ever so briefly addressed it.

The Love Island USA host was asked by a fan if she believes Sandoval’s statement that the lawsuit was his lawyer’s fault and he had no intention of suing her.

Madix would only offer a shrug and a smile, and when pressed by host Andy Cohen about her reaction, and if she was furious, she said, ‘It was a really bad day.’

Back on July 19, Sandoval took to Instagram to explain that he never intended to sue his ex at all.

‘Late Tuesday afternoon, my attorney, Matt Geragos, whose advice I trusted, called me about the Cross-Complaint in the lawsuit against myself and Ariana,’ he said.

‘He assured me that the action was customary and strictly preventative in these types of lawsuits and urged me to agree to it,’ Sandoval added.

‘The words ‘New Lawsuit’ or ‘Suing’ were not articulated to me. I should’ve done more of my due diligence on the matter. Upon realizing what this action actually means, I have removed Matt Geragos from my legal team,’ he added.

‘In no way am I suing Ariana. The action against Ariana brought on my behalf is being removed. I had no ill will or vindictiveness toward Ariana,’ Tom insisted.

‘Now, by removing both the Cross-Complaint and the attorney who recommended it, I hope to get through this case quickly, so that Ariana and I can both finally MOVE ON with our lives,’ he concluded.

Madix was also asked if she’s been in touch with Tom Schwartz and she said, ‘No,’ and when asked if she’s spoken with Scheana Shay she said, ‘Here and there, yeah.’

When asked if their, ‘friendship took a big hit after the reunion,’ Madix admitted, ‘Yes, but there’s a lot of love there.’

‘And I’m really happy, she just won an award for talking about her postpartum OCD, and I thought that was really, really lovely.’

When asked what the, ‘biggest lesson of the last two years,’ would be, Madix said, ‘I am capable of so much more than I think I let myself believe.’

She also shot down rumors that her VPR co-star and longtime friend Katie Maloney was dating Love Island USA’s Conor Newsum, and rumors that she set them up.

‘Katie is not dating anyone. And I have never played matchmaker with Katie. So. Yeah,’ Ariana said.

Madix will host the Love Island USA Reunion special that airs Wednesday, August 14 on Peacock.
