The Young and the Restless recap brings a big accusation from Adam to Nick.
Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Sharon wonders what Adam (Mark Grossman) was thinking in choosing Sally over their daughter. Sally told Nick she wasn’t ready for good in her life right now. Phyllis revealed herself to Michael, while Summer found out from Chance that Christine wants to charge her too. Now let’s dig deeper into what went down.
Young and the Restless: Adam Makes The Rounds
Sharon (Sharon Case) talked to Faith (Reylynn Caster) on the phone, reassuring her daughter she was fine. It was late, but Adam stopped by without calling. Sharon was startled, but she sat and talked with him. She told Adam that the grief of losing a child is life-long, which didn’t make him feel better. He admitted that he’d lost Sally too. As they talked, Sharon wondered what Adam was thinking, choosing Sally over the baby, and he said he did the best he could with the information he had. He wanted them both to survive.
In Sally’s (Courtney Hope) room, Nick (Joshua Morrow) tried to cheer her up but also pushed her to get what she was feeling out — he could handle it. Sally was sad, and she didn’t want Nick hovering over her. He promised to be there when she needed him, and she ranted that she would never be okay. She wanted everybody who told her she would be to die. She cried that he didn’t answer her calls when she needed him.
Nick repeated his offer for Sally to move in when she was ready, and she told him she wasn’t in a place for good things at this time. He promised to stay with her until she fell asleep, and then he went downstairs, where he ran into Adam. The brothers argued a bit about the situation. Nick accused Adam of trying to get Sharon to fix his life while she was dealing with her own issues.
Adam blamed Nick for choosing Sharon over Sally, and he said his big brother would come out looking like the hero while Adam’s life was ruined. Upstairs, Sally awakened and cried while looking at Ava Hope’s things. Later, Nick called Sharon, and she let him know she was fine alone. She also told Nick she was sure he could find something productive to do while he was on leave from work.
Young and the Restless Recap: Surprise
Michael (Christian Le Blanc) was in a hotel room at the GCAC, and he expected to see Lauren so they could get romantic. However, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) showed up instead. Michael was taken aback, but he didn’t call the police. Phyllis begged him to be her lawyer, and Michael admitted he’d already told Summer he would be.
He did, however, remind Phyllis that she was no better than Diane now, which didn’t sit so well. Michael wanted to be the one who made the plans for her defense, and Phyllis wasn’t sure she wanted Victor involved in any of those plans, even if Victor was doing it at Summer’s request, after Michael admitted they couldn’t find the missing EMT. Michael wanted Phyllis to turn herself in, but she wasn’t ready to do that. She left, and he wondered if he’d ever see her again.
Y&R Recap: Not Friends
At Crimson Lights, Summer (Allison Lanier) gave Chance (Conner Floyd) her tale of woe about her marriage. Things were over because she’d chosen her mom over her husband. Chance didn’t tell her that was okay, but he did point out that it showed how far Summer would go to help her mother.
Things got uncomfortable when Chance told Summer that Christine wanted to charge her when they charged Phyllis — nothing personal, though, which Summer wasn’t happy about. They talked about how they couldn’t really be friends after all this. Chance pointed out that she couldn’t move forward as long as her mom was still on the run. Summer agreed that perhaps they needed to find Phyllis then.
