The Y&R Cast Gets Naughty And Nice

The Young and the Restless cast recently got into the Christmas and holiday spirit, as several members found out whether they’d been naughty or nice. Or, at least their table bowling skills helped them figure it out.

Young and the Restless Holiday Style

In several different sets, somebody set up a table with red cups at the end. Each cup had a label on it, and the actors simply had to “bowl” a small ball down the table. Whichever cup the ball landed in was their “prize.”

Jason Thompson, who portrays Billy, introduces the game (in two takes, but that’s neither here nor there). “Welcome to The Young and the Restless Christmas promos 2023,” he says. Of course, possibly the star of the whole clip was Camryn Grimes (Mariah), who screams when she finds out she’s gotten a lump of coal! “Noooo,” she yells. “Not coal!” Peter Bergman (Jack) also doesn’t love seeing coal in his stocking. Sean Dominic (Nate) and Bryni Sarpy (Elena) also roll the ball into the “coal” cups.

Others who “win” coal, though, thought it made sense. On the naughty list (and getting a lump of coal) were, not surprisingly, Michelle Stafford (Phyllis), Courtney Hope (Sally), and Mark Grossman (Adam). Each actor absolutely understands that it makes sense that their on-screen alter egos might be deserving of the black lump of coal from Santa. Grossman, however, expresses his hope that perhaps in 2024, Adam will find himself on Santa’s nice list (probably only if another Newman needs a kidney…wait, nope, Adam doesn’t have another spare).

Perhaps the most coveted prize is the one right in the center that reads “social card.” The winners are Zuleyka Silver (Audra) and Trevor St. John (Tucker), whose characters probably should receive coal, but not so for the actors. The card reads, “This card gets you out of the social activation of your choosing.”

Several other Y&R stars receive a variety of other tasty and nice prizes in this light-hearted video. Be sure to check it all out above. Do you deserve coal or something nice this year?
