Kyle Richards called out Sutton Stracke for her “mean” antics after she mentioned her drama with her sisters during an argument on the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
As Sutton, 52, looked back on her angry outburst, admitting that she went to the “lowest place” with Kyle, 54, Erika Jayne, 52, suggested she wasn’t surprised by Sutton’s behavior as newbie Annmarie Wiley, 40, slammed Sutton for her “attention seeking,” joint-smoking antics at Kyle’s THC dinner.
During the latest RHOBH episode, amid her fight with Kyle, Sutton blurted out, “You already lost two sisters. Do you want to lose a third?”
“This Sutton is a mean person. For her to say something like that when she knows how painful that’s been to me,” Kyle stated on the December 7 episode of the RHOBH: After Show. “What did I do to you other than not give you a play-by-play about what’s going on in my marriage currently? Did that warrant this?”
“[And] it didn’t match how she talks to me normally about my relationships with my sisters,” Kyle continued. “Also, [Kim Richards] and I are in a great place so I was thinking, ‘What are you doing? Why would you say something like that about someone’s family? You know nothing.’ It was really disappointing.”
According to Sutton, she lashed out at Kyle in response to Kyle’s claims about her drinking and lack of eating.
“I was angrier than I’ve been in a long time. When she’s insinuating, the drinking and the eating problem… I struck back,” Sutton recalled, admitting to thinking she and Kyle were closer than they actually were.
“We would talk every day, text, I‘ve been with her family and her closest friends. I just thought I was in the family,” she noted. “I felt terrible afterward because I knew that was the lowest place to go, and I went there. I can’t believe I did it.”
Following a years-long friendship with Sutton, Kyle questioned whether this mean side of Sutton has” always been there.”
“Yes. It was,” Erika replied. “I felt this way when she was very persistent about my divorce. Then when I did push back at her at [Kathy Hilton’s] dinner, she cried, and somehow or another I was a bully. I just don’t think that’s okay. I’ve seen side, and I think she enjoys this, and I think she enjoys thinking that she’s in this position amongst this group… This is who she is.”
Erika also told Kyle, “You are such a much better woman than I am because I would’ve snatched that b*tch [Sutton] bald.”
In another segment of the RHOBH: After Show, the cast reflected on how Sutton chose to smoke a joint at Kyle’s dinner.
“I thought, when she lit up that joint, I was like, ’this is just the icing on the cake.’ I was upset with her but I did low-key love that moment,” Kyle admitted as Garcelle Beauvais, 57, described the moment as “ballsy.”
“It was sexy because you didn’t give an F,” Garcelle told Sutton.
Meanwhile, Annemarie said Sutton’s antics were “coo-koo.”
“We’re already at a THC dinner, and then she pulls out a joint, I’m like, ‘That’s taking it a step too far, just extra, like why?’ It was very, like, attention-seeking,” she stated.
Dorit Kemsley, 47, then looked back on a moment in which Sutton offered her some “very light” weed before a charity event, which she ultimately missed due to the use of the drug.
“I would venture to guess that was not the first and only time she had a joint in her handbag,” Dorit suspected. “Who brings weed to a weed dinner? Was she afraid there wasn’t gonna be enough weed?”
“This is eerily similar to the vodka. I assumed she had [the blunt] because we were going to a weed dinner,” Crystal Kung-Minkoff, 40, responded.
As for Sutton, she explained, “We’re at a pot party, and I don’t eat that stuff.”
