In the Days of our Lives recap for November 27, 2023, Nicole’s mother’s intuition resulted in her unwittingly uncovering a fiendish plot.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
In addition, Dimitri came through for Leo in a big way, and Stefan and Ava proved to be quite the team — once they stopped their bickering. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what happened.
Familial Territory
Outside the Brady Pub, Nicole (Arianne Zucker) guilted Eric (Greg Vaughan) into letting her hold the baby he was pushing around in a stroller. Seconds after getting the little bundle of joy into her arms, a flicker of recognition washed over Nicole’s face. This was him, her baby. The one that she’d carried inside her.
Meanwhile, inside the establishment, EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) haughtily demanded that Rafe (Galen Gering) track down and arrest his no-good, SOB nephew. He wanted to see Dimitri (Peter Porte) suffer — mightily. As for Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), well, EJ intended to throw the book at him, nay, the entire library.
Rafe then wondered what EJ planned to do about Ava (Tamara Braun). After all, the evidence seemed to support her claim that she shot Gil in self-defense. With that granted, EJ declared he saw no reason to press charges.
Off that convo, EJ found himself forced to separate Nicole from the baby that she was ranting was hers and did his utmost to convince her that she was mistaken. Nicole told EJ and Eric what they wanted to hear, but once she was alone, she resolved to prove that her baby was still alive and in Eric and Sloan’s (Jessica Serfaty) custody.
Child Care
Speaking of Sloan, Dimitri uncovered her scheme, judged her harshly, and threatened that she’d better get the charges against Leo dropped lest he, “sing like a canary,” to the authorities.
As for Leo, he refused to take Jada (Elia Cantu) up on her offer that would see him walk free if only he’d throw his boyfriend under the bus. No way he was ratting out the only man who loved him.
Special Assistance
Elsewhere, Stefan (Brandon Barash) and Ava (Tamara Braun) found themselves at an impasse. Neither wanted to be the one to let themself into the SPD evidence room and swipe the drugs found on Clyde’s (James Read) lackey. So, the person to lay it on the line was decided by the flip of a coin. And Stefan wound up the loser.
So, while Ava kept Harris (Steve Burton) distracted — and ensured that his keys would be found — Stefan completed his mission and narrowly avoided being caught out by Jada. Phew!
