Garcelle Beauvais just “liked” a series of shady posts shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, about her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star, Dorit Kemsley, and her post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
After reacting to Kyle Richards, 54, and Sutton Stracke‘s “turbulent” status, Garcelle, 56, took to social media, where she “liked” posts made by her online audience, who were weighing in on the encounter Garcelle and Dorit had on this week’s episode of RHOBH, which saw Garcelle confronting Dorit about her failure to step in amid Erika Jayne‘s season 12 rant in front of her teenage son Jax.
After Garcelle mentioned Dorit’s struggles with PTSD, which stem from her home robbery in October 2021, as she suggested she would never expect her to be over the incident, and shouldn’t be expected to be over what happened between Erika and Jax herself, Garcelle reacted to viewers’ messages.
“Dorit just wants a problem with Garcelle AGAIN! Did you care that Magic Mike wasn’t intimate? It looked like a full house event,” one person wrote, giving a nod to the idea that Dorit was triggered by crowds — but not all crowds.
Another post “liked” by Garcelle suspected Dorit wasn’t triggered by crowds, but those who look like “the help.”
“Maybe this PTSD that Dorit is triggered by is only brought out by people that look like the help [she’s] hired,” the person wrote as someone else denied it was a race issue and told them to “look up PTSD.”
“It’s real and you can be fine [one] minute and a mess the next,” they explained.
A third fan asked, “Did Dorit’s PTSD flare up at Magic Mike in Vegas?”
“I kinda peep that she’s only uncomfortable in certain events, but I will keep observing. Maybe I’m wrong,” one person wrote in response.
“Or when she was carrying around $10,000, zero PTSD,” noted another.
As for Kyle and Sutton, Garcelle confirmed during an interview earlier this month that her RHOBH castmates were taking some time apart after their “turbulent” 13th season.
“It was very turbulent,” Garcelle told Entertainment Tonight of a heated spat recently seen on the show.
“I think it’s interesting because [on] the show itself, I heard two different versions of that scene until I saw it myself,” she revealed. “I think they’re coming [to] a crossroads with their friendship. I really feel like Sutton always thought she had a friendship with Kyle that I don’t know necessarily was really there. I think they were both hoping. But hopefully, they figure it out. But right now, it’s rocky. I think they’re taking time apart from each other.”
Garcelle was then asked how she feels about being Sutton’s “spokesperson.”
“I don’t want to be. That woman can take care of herself. Really, she’s so strong. She is. Sometimes I go for the underdog and I try to help out but she can handle herself,” Garcelle confirmed.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
