Lily (Christel Khalil) and Daniel (Michael Graziadei) reconnected and started a relationship shortly after Billy (Jason Thompson) and Lily broke up. They’ve kept things fairly casual, but Daniel did move into her building recently.
With Heather (Vail Bloom) moving back to Genoa City, the couple has already had an argument about her, and Lily seems uneasy with Daniel’s worries over his ex. Lily experiences mixed signals with Daniel, which isn’t surprising considering how awkward he’s acted about Heather’s return.

Of course, Lily has other things on her mind, too, like Aunt Mamie’s (Veronica Redd) secrecy surrounding buying Victor’s (Eric Braeden) shares of Chancellor-Winters. Neither she nor Devon (Bryton James) wanted to follow their aunt’s declaration that the whole family…including Nate (Sean Dominic)…should return to the company.
It’s no wonder that they’re concerned about their cousin’s potential return, given how he betrayed them before. While it all ended up okay, Nate could’ve truly hurt Chancellor-Winters with his actions.

Now, Devon questions Nate’s sincerity. He doesn’t know if he can actually trust his cousin or take him at face value. Devon is right to wonder after everything that happened. This could be a grave mistake for Chancellor-Winters if Nate is scheming with Victoria (Amelia Heinle) or anyone else again.
