The middle of the week will be anything but middle-of-the-road for The Young and the Restless. In the Wednesday, Nov. 1, episode of the CBS soap, with Melissa Claire Egan’s maternity leave over, Chelsea returns to Genoa City after getting son Connor settled in his new school. If she and Billy are able to pick up right where they left off, could we be heading for a New Year’s Eve wedding?
In other developments, Victor, rejecting our repeated suggestion that he take up a hobby that’s sole purpose doesn’t seem to be alienating his entire family, continues to test Nick and Victoria. If you ask us, the siblings are about one “You got that?” away from saying “To hell with this!” and forming Nicktoria Enterprises.
Finally, Adam gets the kind of awakening that’s the most common in Genoa City: the rude kind. Something tells us that he isn’t going to be thrilled to learn that he’s among the last to know that Daddy Dearest has been playing him as a test of his loyalty. Then again, given Adam’s own treacherousness, maybe he will realize that Victor is only doing what his son would in his shoes.
What’s that saying, after all? Keep your friends close and your relatives closer?
Interestingly, all it will take is one wrong move on Adam’s part now to make Nate look trustworthy by comparison. If the snake hears opportunity knocking, you just know that he’ll be at the door faster than he and Victoria can rumple up the bedding!
