As everyone expected, Y&R teasers finally revealed that Sally is having a girl. When Adam predicted that it would be another boy for him because he already has two sons, he was getting soap-opera biology exactly backward. Sally’s baby will be a girl because Adam already has a boy. Adam’s other son, Christian, was a boy because he was born while his mother was married to Nick, and Nick’s last child, Faith, was a girl. It’s soap science, don’t question it!
Y&R Spoilers Speculation: Risky Business
Sally (Courtney Hope) is already in love with her little girl to the point where she worries about the guys said infant will one day bring home. So imagine how devastated Sally will be if she loses the baby. (To be honest, we’re a little worried about this pregnancy already. Sally’s sonogram had to be the 20-week one if she was learning gender. But the woman isn’t showing, like, at all. Are we sure everything is all right in there?)
The Y&R Replacements
Sally has a complicated history with her own mother, so we can imagine losing her chance to become one could drive her over the edge. And you know what over-the-edge, mourning moms with baby rabies do on soaps. That’s right, they kidnap a replacement!
Y&R Spoilers: Cog in a Machine
We’ve been wondering what the point of Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa’s (Cait Fairbanks) new baby daughter is since most of that story took place off-screen. Maybe Aria’s purpose is to be kidnapped by Sally in her grief. This will give Mariah and Tessa a semblance of a story, push Sharon (Sharon Case) into Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) orbit, and give Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) a chance to, once again, demonstrate how she is an expert in all things mental health now. Maybe Sally can use Daniel’s video game to return to her senses!
